works great
I wanted a home dock for my new SiriusXM Tour radio, and this works perfectly for it. The Tour radio has internet connectivity, so you can listen to everything SiriusXM has to offer without having to run a wire to an exterior antenna on the roof or outside wall of your house, which is a tremendous improvement. The package comes with everything needed, including the dock itself with several adapters so you can dock pretty much any SiriusXM portable radio made in the last 10 years, a power cord (of course), an antenna (if you still want to install one because you don't have internet or something), and an audio cable to connect to the input jack on a stereo receiver, line-in jack on your computer, or something like that. I use the my Tour radio's Bluetooth feature to connect to a Bluetooth speaker, so I don't use the audio cable.Highly recommended.

Excellent Item
Well made, well packaged product. Arrived quickly. Easy to install. We have Sirius in our vehicle through the infotainment system. We wanted to be able to enjoy our satellite radio subscription in our house. We have two of these home kits and one Onyx radio in our house. The Onyx radio does require an additional subscription, separate from the one for the vehicle infotainment system. We have the home kits playing through two receiver/amps and regular stereo speakers. We have not had any problems with any of the Sirius equipment or subscriptions. That said, it would be nice if Sirius had some competition in the marketplace so that prices would get lower.

Product
The product worked well. I must have an early model that didn't use a remote. But that is my issue not there's.

Included remote control lacks some functionality.
I bought the Home Kit to use with the SiriusXM Tour 360L which I bought concurrently, and which it is stated to be compatible. Most of the components work as they should. I was able to get great signal strength with the antenna located on the casement of a south-facing window. The Tour receiver fit hand-in-glove into the home base. However, the Included Home Kit remote control for use with the Tour receiver lacks functionality, as it has no volume control (although I could work around this since I was using it with a home audio stereo which has its own volume remote control).More frustratingly, I was not able to get the remote to turn on the Tour receiver. Once the receiver is turned on manually, the remote works as intended, and can be used to turn off the receiver.I spent an hour or more with Sirius technical support, attempting to gain insight as to whether the inability to turn the receiver on via the remote was the remote or the receiver. No determination was reached, and Sirius advised - despite the Warranty Information card stating not to return problem items to the retailer - to return both the Tour receiver and the Home Kit in their entirety to Amazon under their 30 day return policy. Sirius specifically stated when I asked that the remote was not available separately to be replaced or exchanged.I initiated an Amazon return for both, but would only be able to get a refund, not an exchange, and would therefore need to buy both items again. When I checked, the receiver had increased in price from $79.49 to $99.99, and the Home Kit increased from $30.55 to $44.47 - a total of a $34.42 increase in price.Additional investigation showed the Tour Remote SXWBR1 included with the Home Kit is available from Sirius directly and other retailers for $9.99. Several of the reviews for it include noting the remote will not turn on the Tour receiver, it will only turn it off once it is manually started. So buyer beware, this problem is likely a known issue, and apparently inherent to the remote, not the receiver, and getting a new remote apparently may not remedy the issue.
