I grabbed this one because it was very similar to another seller's but the price was much better. We didn't need something super intense at a higher price point, this isn't for high altitude training.I'm glad I bought it, I feel it's helping strengthen my spouses breathing. Adult onset asthma sucks but medicine and training the body to work more efficiently has made a big difference. I would buy this one again.

I thought this would be a great little exercise for my lungs, I have COPD, it’s easy to use, I would recommend this to anyone!

Breathing in and out through the mouth is not natural to us. I use it, to breath through the nose and out through the mouth. This way it works better for me.

This thing is awesome, I can quickly feel an improvement in lung function and Im excited to use this for a couple months and see the results. I just quit smoking cigarettes and this time its foreal, and im using this to help regain some lung function. The only issue is the mouthpiece is a little big so you gag on it on occasion, haha

I have had breathing issues since I was a child with bronchitis at least once a year. I've had PT to help strengthen my lungs, but it's so easy to quit doing all those exercises once you're finished with the classes. I bought this not really expecting much but you just never know. Well, this was a shock. From the first time I used this, my breathing has changed. Felt like I couldn't get enough air into my lungs no matter what I did. This has changed that and I find myself with it in my mouth most of the time I'm home. Works incredibly well for me. I exhale and inhale both through the mouthpiece. Has changed my inhalation problem to where it's not nearly the problem it used to be. Hope it works as well for you.

low settings for breathing pressure in and out are not low enough. This is like lifting a 30 lb weight when all you want is a 10 lb. decent device when you really want to work the lung muscles. Avg athletes will probably be fine with the pressure.gets pretty wet with saliva quickly. 10 breaths and it's already collecting drops. can't imagine using this for running and needing to constantly be spitting out every few minutes. but have not used it for exercise outdoors only short minute or two sessions at home.would love to find a high altitude trainer, this one is more for lung muscles but it's good.

Writing this review after 1 month of use.I train and compete internationally in my sport and I have a hard time using this device. I do not recommend it.1. You cannot take it apart to clean, except for removing the silicone.2. Not that this is a design flaw; however, saliva drips down into the tube so end up inhaling saliva in. Not good during running, cycling, or HIIT. I will now use my lying in bed until my rouge altitude training mask comes in.3. The difficulty setting is adjustable, just very very limited. It's similar to breathing out of a coffee stirrer. My lung capacity and inspiratory muscle strength is above average. I can't imagine amateur level or elite level using this device well, much less beginners
