Good Product
We recently had a tree removed from our backyard and we converted a stump of it into a beautiful table. This product had to be applied monthly for one year to protect the exposed part of the table from cracking and maintaining its look, So far, so good.

Preserve a 139 year old piece of wood.
I lost 139 sugar maple tree in a storm. We had the tree company cut a 4 inch slice of the trunk. To keep it from cracking and developing mold, we used the Pentacryl to preserve the wood. It is now "resting" enclosed in a paper wrap in the garage for a couple of months, then it will be sanded smooth and will be used as a wonderful table top, that has character and beauty of a magnificent tree. A new autumn blaze maple has been planted. We got the idea for this product from a woodworker. It was easy to apply, over a two week period, and did penetrate through the wood. I was very pleased.

Worked great
We used this on Cottonwood wood cookies before putting them in the kiln. They came out great, no cracking with the bark still attached. We’ll definitely be using it again!

Soak and dry at room temperature
First time user here. It worked great on the small oak disk. I soaked for about 4 days and dried inside the house. The larger pieces soaked for 2 weeks outside in colder weather, dried for 2 weeks outside in colder weather and they all cracked. Lesson learned. Soak and dry at room temperature

Great product
Used to prevent cracking in green wood. Wish I knew about it sooner!

Saves the Day
I use this stuff irregularly, but it sure does save the day to have it around. I use very rare and exotic woods, sometimes when I cut into a piece that hasn't funny dried in the middle I'll have two options: 1. let it dry and probably crack 2. throw it in with some pentacryl and preserve it. I'll always have a gallon on the shelf, it does what its supposed to do.

Disappointed in the product and the services.
The product says it will not discolor your wood. Not in my case.I submerged this good size Apple bowl for 24 hours. You can see what it did. I was hoping it would help avoid the cracking that fruit woods often suffer from. A) it totally ruined the clean, blond color of the apple wood and I still got a decent crack.I contact support 45 days ago with pictures and a request to help me understand what I may have done wrong. Crickets. They have ignored me.
