NuWallpaper NU2873 Poplin Texture Peel & Stick Wallpaper, Grey

I don’t normally write reviews but this stuff is absolutely amazing. I’ve done other brands of wallpaper, and this brand by far exceeds them all. Super forgiving, great pattern to overlap pieces, and extremely beginner friendly. The pattern and texture look is so in, and stylish and so easy to apply. I did my kitchen island in less than an hour and using another color for an accent wall. Cannot recommend this brand enough! If you’re thinking about it, JUST DO IT!My only complaint is they only let you buy so many quantities of one color, but it still doesn’t take away my 5 stars because it’s that good.

I used this as a temporary backsplash in a coastal condo. It was super easy to put up. It has stayed very sticky and did not fall off the wall. I like that I can remove it later when I decide on a more permanent backsplash. I also like that it is waterproof, and I can wipe it down without any problems.

Love the texture and color of this wallpaper! I have purchased other products online because the photo makes it look like it’s textured but then I get it and it’s just a graphic print. This wallpaper did not disappoint! It is great quality, easy to install, and the seams blend nicely.

Update 07.26.2023-Bought 1 more new roll to try and finish my craft room. Was delivered today and it’s a completely different color, even though I ordered the exact same item, color, company again.Original order - Do not buy the “like new” cheaper option. I bought 1 roll of their navy stick and peel because this was my first experience with stick and peel wallpaper and I didn’t want to spend a ton of money up front. Finally got around to trying the wallpaper this week, only to realize the ENTIRE roll isn’t sticky. Contacted customer support, only for them to tell me they need the batch and product #’s, picture of the label, and details of where, who and when the item was purchased. The irony being that the box and packaging didn’t have any of that information. I kindly emailed back and told them thank you for nothing.The unfortunate part is, I’d already bought 4 more rolls prior to opening the defective roll. The new rolls are sticky, but barely and the paper backing is so thin that it keeps ripping and shredding peeling off the roll. The only good thing I can say is that the wallpaper looks good once it’s actually on the wall and is easy to line up next to each other because of the nature of the print.

Project: 1 wall in 8x10 bathroomAmount Needed: 3 rolls (this left just enough to also cover my small linen closet shelves).Color: Terracotta - beautiful dusky, brownish rose that perfectly complimented my very pale pink bathroom. It’s neutral enough to go with a variety of decor.Skill Level/Assistance: self-admitted wallpaper novice and completed this project by myself.Here are some things I learned that may help you, too:1. Prep the walls! If you’re painting underneath the paper or have recently painted, it’s recommended to wait 30 days for the paint to properly cure. Make sure they’re totally dry and free of any dust and dirt.2. It’s not uncommon for walls to not be perfectly 90 degrees in the corners. The first piece took me like 2 hours, bc I kept thinking I was doing something wrong, when in actuality, the wall was the problem. It is imperative to get the first one as correct as possible, though, since all other pieces are kind of dictated by it.3. Squeegee! I learned this too late, but using a wide silicone squeegee helps you smooth it all out at the same time. I didn’t have one, so I used a paint stirring stick to smooth one side while my hand simultaneously smoothed the other side. If you don’t have a squeegee, smooth from the middle out to avoid weird creases.4. You can reposition it, but be warned that the more you do, the higher the risk of the adhesive not sticking as well.5. When it doubt, superglue it out. Ok so this probably isn’t recommended, but I found that some rolls didn’t seem quite as sticky as others. This could be from a number of reasons, but any little bits that just wouldn’t stay down, I used a dot of superglue painted on with a tiny detail brush. Not ideal, but I figured it was only on parts sticking to other paper (not to the wall itself), and a tiny dab did the trick.Overall, I recommend this wallpaper. It really is beautiful and the textured design is very forgiving.Happy papering 🙃

This product was easy to install and if I had to make alignment adjustments it easily peeled off and adhered back to the wall. The grass cloth design makes it near impossible to see seams or minor bubbling. I even layered the wallpaper in one area and you can't tell at all! The color matched what was shown in the listing which I was initially concerned about but pleasantly surprised by! For a 60 sq ft space I used 2 full rolls. Definitely buy the scraper/exacto knife kit that is recommended if you don't have similar tools, it made the process much easier and smoothed out any air bubbles. I also used the scraper as a guide to make cuts along the way as there were no grid lines on the backing to make measured cuts. The paper is smooth but looks textured and has a great matte but cleanable surface! Doing this by myself took about 3 hours, so could go much quicker with a helper. Would totally buy again!!

Loved this wallpaper I would buy again

I ordered one roll, determined I liked the style and ordered a second roll within days. One roll is exactly what I am looking for, however, the other roll has less texture and when I peel off the back there is no stickiness and it just falls down without even slightly sticking to the wall. I have ordered a replacement for the one roll and am hoping the new roll is more consistent with the one that is what I expected. Will update the review based on results once I can get two rolls that are consistent.Update: After the initial roll was returned I got a second that was not sticky, and finally on a third roll got a good quality product to finish the wall. It looks amazing and I just wish there had been more consistency to prevent delays and hassle of returns.
