This extract smells and tastes great, and just as I expected, will stain absolutely everything it touches. Mine arrived with one of the tops a tiny bit loose despite being well packaged, so there was a tiny leak, but I haven't removed any stars because of that as it seemed completely accidental and both bottles were individually wrapped with plastic on the top so the leak did not spread beyond the label of the one bottle. The color of the extract is gorgeous, SUPER purple! So far, I have only used it in pancakes just to test out how much to use to get a rich purple color, and a few drops is all it took. I am very happy with the quality of the extract so far and will be making ube cookies with it soon!

I purchased this to make purple ice cream for the kids during the holiday. My ice cream was a hit! 2 cups of heavy cream, 1 can of condensed milk - mix until it peaks and then add 1 tablespoon of this extract for coloring (add more if needed). I didn't taste much of the ube flavor so I had to add regular vanilla extract for more flavoring. Overall. the extract was nice, it was wrapped very well and sealed securely. This was my first time using ube extract for a recipe so I don't have much to compare it to. I also used the extract to make a purple cream cheese for my brownies. Overall, I am satisfied with the outcome and will purchase again.

While I had no issues with my delivery, I took caution when opening the bottle so that I would not spill it. It is DARK purple, and I imagine getting it anywhere but the intended batter would cause an unkind stain!I don't bake Ube flavored goodies often, so thankfully this set of two will last me quite some time. I'm happy with my purchase and, when I am out, I'll return to purchase again.

I’ve tried all the ube flavorings/extracts and this one is, by far, the best. I have my own bakery and when I offer ube sourdough, this is the extract I use! I wish you got more for the price (thus the missing one star), but I genuinely is a great product. Do beware of how concentrated the extract is though! And it does stain if you’re not careful.

It's challenging to trust a flavoring product when even the basic packaging standards aren't met.Flavor Far From Authentic: However, the most crucial disappointment was the flavor itself. Genuine ube has a distinctive, sweet, and earthy depth, but this product's taste was far from it. It had an overwhelmingly artificial, almost chemical-like sweetness, missing the natural, creamy essence of real ube. My attempts to use it in various recipes only led to an unpalatable, synthetic aftertaste, rather than enhancing the dishes with the desired ube flavor.Final Verdict: All in all, from the problematic and delayed shipping to the poor presentation and deeply unsatisfying artificial taste, this ube flavoring was a complete letdown. It failed to deliver the authentic and delightful ube experience I had hoped for. I regret this purchase and caution others against this product. It's a stark reminder that not all flavorings are created equal.

I love this stuff for Ube mochi. Great flavor and deep color. Wish it came in a much bigger bottle. I can only make about 2 batches with this.

Came in leaking due to caps not being screwed tight. Haven't used it yet, though.
