Ube cheesecake just delicious!
This Ube Jam is the best. I have used it a few times for deserts and everyone has loved them. The taste is delicious. The color is a beautiful purple. The aroma is so good, the ease of use is great, and the ingredients are exactly what is needed for the perfect Filipino desert.

Nice on toast. Nice in cheesecakes and muffins. Reminds me of vanilla and pistachio with pumpkin.

Banned ingredient, foul smell, spend your money on a better product!!
I purchased this product with caution, after reading the reviews prior. Never again. The jar came with the seal slightly ripped, and a yellowish stained outer wrapper. The Ube itself smells similar to mildew, which is not expected. And on top of it, the jam contains a banned ingredient, red 3, which is labeled not for consumption. Since it is a food product, there are no returns on Amazon, so I'm writing this for anyone on the brink of buying the cheaper option - don't!

Great value for a typically expensive product in the US
Great price for halaya. Used for Ube brownies that came out fantastic. Enough in one jar to make at least 2 batches. Previously bought the same jar at a shop for 50% more than found here.
