what can you do with 50 grams of Gallium?
50 grams is not enough to do anything, really. My son ( 4th grade) saw a Youtube video of someone making a mold with a clay, and then pour the gallium into it. With 50 grams, you can probably make something like a penny size. To make the gallium into liquid form, you will need to heat it or mix it with a hot water. It was interesting to see a liquid metal but that was about it. The gallium leaves a stain, similar to pencil lines, but easy to clean. Are we going to buy more? Nah, I don't think so.

Cool metal
Very cool product! My son was so excited to get this and play with it. I wish it was a larger amount, but he didn't seem to mind. No instructions included. Had to look up videos.

Pretty neat!
Mine arrived very quickly and the bonus of the syringe for the price was a no brainer. This is the best value for 50 grams. I wrapped mine in a heating pad until it melted enough to get it out of the little plastic tub it comes in. Visualize roughly 2.00 in quarters stacked up and that will give you a good idea of the size.

100% Satisfied
It's 100% Gallium, it's clean, and it's fun to mold things with! I didn't buy it for any particular reason, other than to mold fun shapes and enjoy the physical properties of a liquid metal, but for whatever reason one needs some Gallium, I highly recommend this purchase!

Worst money spent. Christmas flop.
Whatever they added to the "pure" gallium left it impossible to melt at body temperature. It took a hair dryer to get any of it to melt, and then it was only about the outer 10%. It also left dark grey smudges on the skin kind of like pencil lead. The company has not responded to my emails and requests for a return/refund. This was a Christmas gift for my son and turned out to be the biggest $20 stinker I've ever bought online. 🤬

Pure metal, no syringe!
The metal itself is very pure and affordable. It was sold as coming with a syringe for moving the liquid form, but it did NOT. Dissapointed!
