Cold hardy grapevine Cultivar
The seller does a great job packaging and informing about the grapevines sold. First thing to remember is that shipping a live plant isn’t easy, there may be some lead damage. It will grow back. Secondly, it must be acclimated to sunshine slowly and gradually over several days. It will be a bit dried out upon arrival. Water it slightly, set it in the shade for a day or two, then into dappled sunlight another couple days. Then set it in sun for half a day for 2 days. Then it should be ready for planting in full sun. Be sure to water as needed. Monitor it and block full sun if it appears to be too much. Taking this time to acclimate your vine will be rewarded with a healthy vine. You cannot just take it out of the box and plant it in full sun - it will bake. Your fault, not the seller’s.
