These are a great idea. good for a light duty tie down. once the ground gets really wet though (like with the weather the North Eastern US has been having) they tend to lose their grip. If the soil stays solid though, these work well.

They pulled out of dry ground but once it rained they weren't going anywhere. Not ideal for dry hard ground. Definitely not easy to screw in but worth the effort when they hold.

We used these plus zip ties to attach the composter to the ground. We placed a rodent-proof screen flat on the ground, positioned the composter on top, then snugged it all down.

I used these for a shower tent (which I used as a portable bathroom) and a pop up tent during strong winds! These kept my tents in one place the ENTIRE time. I screwed these all the way into hard dirt and they DID NOT move until I removed them. Would highly suggest.

Work ok broke three first time of use

The head of two of these has broke off the second time I used them. I don't know if I got a faulty set or what but I do not like these as much as I had hoped.

This product is a joke! The threads are so minimal and rounded there is no way you can screw them into anything but loose sand. Then they won’t hold! Lame product.

Work great in tough soil that is hard to drive a normal tent stake into. Seem to hold well.
