Grandpa, Tell Me Your Memories Heirloom Edition

Omg!!! This is the sweetest thing I have ever gotten for anyone! The questions in this book for my grandfather to answer are so precious!!! I can’t wait for the day to have it returned so I can read about his life!!! Happy 80th birthday to the best grandpa in the world-MINE♥️

Great book for bringing out some long forgotten memories. The pages have plenty of room for answers or stories from the past. The only downside I see is there is no designated place for adding pictures. I suggest placing them on the pages that don't really apply, or since there is a lot of writing room on the pages, to squeeze some in when you don't have a lot to say on certain days.I can't wait to see what long forgotten stories or thoughts show up on the pages when we see it next!

This is the first Grandpa book I bought. It has room for detailed stories and memories. Not so much room for pictures so I put pictures in places that did not pertain to me and I captioned them. There is quite a lot details in this book which I really like. My grandson will get a very good picture of what it was like for me growing up and my school days as well as my neighborhood and family. I really like this book due to the space for details. Very good quality and very fast shipping. In fact I sent one of these books to my sister "Grandma Tell me your story" and she loves it.

I purchased this book for my father to be completed and given to my youngest son at his wedding. It's beautifully written and well constructed. It has many topics to cover, so many that my father couldn't complete it due to memory loss. He did finish majority and we added some small wallet size pictures throughout the book. He presented it to my son and his new bride and they truly loved it. They cherish every word and often bring it out to re-read what he wrote. The only drawback was it was a little too much for an elderly person to complete. Some of the questions were repetative and not of interest. I would definetely recommend this book if youre looking to have your loved ones previous memoriesrecorded forever.

When I first started looking at memory books to give my Grandpa, I was really surprised at how many of them were designed for what I call "young eyes." This book is clear to read, the type is set at a good size for reading, and there is no tinted text. I also like this book over others because of the kind of questions it asks. Some of these type of books can get quite personal, almost nosy, but I think this one has the perfect tone. Each day of the year you answer one question. It starts off with questions about their birth—where they were born and dates, what did people say about you when you were born—and much of the book is questions about their childhood—how much was an ice cream cone when you were a boy? Just the kind of question to jog their memories about things they remember enjoying, and great conversation starters. My grandpa has been writing in his for just a few weeks and has already had so much fun with it that he's a couple weeks ahead! I can't wait to read it at the end of the year.

I was afraid of getting these kinds of books at first. I thought they might as questions that didn't pertain to my grandmother or my mother since my kids also gave this as a gift. I was very pleased when I received the books. They are tightly bound like a hardcover book is. They also ask questions that pertain to anybody in my opinion. I've already given them out so I don't have the questions word for word but here are some I can remember (not word for word): Describe the circumstances of your birth? What day and time and where were you born? What was your mothers name? What was your fathers name? What did your father do for a living? Did your mother work outside of the home? What was the biggest lie you ever told?.......there are a total of 365 questions, one for everyday of the year so they can fill it out everyday

I purchased this as a gift for both my father and father-in-law from my daughter's for Father's Day. This is a fabulous idea and a must do for all families. Everyday it poses a new question and if you do it everyday for a year your book will be filled out. It has a ton of questions, a little intimidating at first for sure. I love that there is lots of space to write answers, the spacing and print is fairly large for those who can't see 20/20 and it poses questions you would likely never think to ask. This is a great way to keep your families history alive.

I bought the for my niece/Godchild to do with her Grandfather (Jaja), who just turned 95. I think it will be fun for them to do together, and he will enjoy reminicing and telling her about this life. I'd recommend these types of books of anyone to do with their elderly grandparents or parents, because you may learn something you didn't know about them. Once they are gone so is the history unless you document it. And it will be nice to re-read later, and hand down to the great grandchildren.

I bought this for my dad to give to my niece. He was happy with the book and the memories he was able to write in this book have been awesome. I'm so happy with this purchase and would recommend.

I bought this book for my husband who does not really like to write a lot. He loved it as it works like a daily diary. So everyday he manages to jot down a few lines for his grandson. As we live in India there were a few things we do not relate to eg Thanksgiving , Halloween etc. so that will have to be left blank.On the whole it is a beautiful book. I hope this will be a help to other grandpas who wish to buy the book.

A great keepsake for the Grandchildren. This book isn't as nice as the Grandma Version but it is still a really nice book. I bought one for each set of Grandparents to fill out.

Re-ordered this item for other family members and friends. For the person interested in completing a detail of memories - great keepsake!
