Agree with Ken N. about fittings
Ken N.s review is spot on in regards to different fittings used for your application. There is a break away style and a regular loose ferrule and nut. You have to determine what is correct. As you can figure, the nut(s) have to be slid on first, then insert the cut end of the tubing fully through to the pilot burner or solenoid valve (make sure orifice is seated all the way to the pilot burner first )- You will find that the aluminum tubing will merge into the pilot orifice about a 1/4 inch. then you have one chance to thread the nut into the pilot then tighten snugly and a bit more because you are compressing the ferrule and permanently keeping that ferrule location crimped on the tubing. So if you try to remove the nut, the ferrule is not moving from the crimped location. Take your time and do not bend the tube sharply or it will kink. Use a tubing cutter to cut this product and clean any burrs off. many new pilot assemblies require you to use and form new tubing because the old burner ferrule locations may not apply to the new pilot or valve. If you are unsure, consult a professional- Good Luck and potentially save you some money!

Fixed my weak furnace pilot flame
I used this to replace the pilot tube in my Lennox furnace. It came with two compression fittings, although slightly different types (likely to accomodate different uses). I needed one for each end. One goes in the gas module and the other in the pilot orifice. One is a single fitting piece with a breakaway ferule. The second is a screw fitting, separate ferule, and nut. I was able to the fix the separate ferule on the tube by tighting the nut on and then removing it. Installed and I'm all set. My pilot flame looks better than ever, and the furnace lit up in no time. The tube is a bit longer than my original, but I was able to find space to fit it all inside. Great product!

worked like a charm
couldnt buy the "OEM" pilot tubing line. I had to have a 'contractors license' to do so. even if I had the license, the brand new furnace from the company that sells it couldnt not supply the line to any contractor that could sell it, no one called me back that could order it. long story short, I found out that all it was, from the company that made the furnace was 1/4 aluminum tubing, I cut off the old fittings from the 1/4 line, and used two new 1/4 compression fittings. worked like a charm. now I can use my furnace.all you do is screw the compression fittings, and flare fitting, down, and the 1/4 line flares it self. just make sure you unscrew it once to make sure it flared correctly.

Excellent. Check your fitting requirements.
I bought this to replace my pilot tubing gas line for my furnace. I also bought a small tube bender but i never used it as the tube bends quite easily by hand...however avoid to sharp of a bend. On my system the tubing is connected by breakaway compression fitting on BOTH ends, the gas valve and pilot burner. You only get one compression fitting with this package. I knew this beforehand and bought an extra breakaway compression fitting. They are a little hard to find and are sometimes listed for an extraordinary high price. supplyh0use.c0m has them for cheap.

fittings!!
The quality is good! My problem was my pilot line had two of the same fittings and the kits came with two more common different ones. I had to find and order another compression fitting(s) to complete my line replacement. It wasn't all that friendly finding the fittings and the prices some wanted were ridiculous. But all is well. The only reason I didn't give it a five was because of the fitting hassle.

Works well
Worked well. The installer had no complaints on the part for quality or ease of installation. It is now installed and seems to be working well.

These are great replacement kits at an excellent price
These are great replacement kits at an excellent price. HVAC wholesale houses sell these things for $30 a pop or more (if they have any in stock). These tube kits will work for almost any pilot application in a wall furnace, floor furnace or old forced air furnace.Keep in mind that if you don't get the nuts and ferrules on correctly you will create a gas leak.... which can be very dangerous when you have it next to a lit pilot. If you aren't sure, call a professional to avoid burning your house down!
