Bag of Daim XXL- 460 g of Individually Wrapped Daim Mini Chocolates

Thought i was getting a large bag like you can get at Ikea for £5. I bought these in the run up to easter in the covid 19 outbreak as buying online easter eggs for our boy was impossible. Paid £5 more for the privilege and the bag isn't as big as those from Ikea. Rip off!

I absolutely love Daim bars, but for some reason they are difficult to buy. You can get them via one of the big supermarkets, but during the current Coronavirus pandemic, I haven't even been able to get a slot.....so, Amazon to the rescue!! ....Again!When I first got them, I was shocked at the relatively small bag, for the £9.99 price. I tipped them out onto the counter top, and as they fell, in a heap, they take up the size of a dinner plate.Today, as I was preparing to write this review, I worked out the equivalent cost, if I was to buy the 3-packs of the bigger bars from said, supermarket....you are basically buying the equivalent of 16.5 full size 28g bars. In the supermarket, you'd have to buy 6 x the 3-packs, so you'd have 18 x 28g bars for £6.00 (on the special offer that I buy them on anyway), so yeah, these DO work out quite expensive in comparison, but then you get them delivered to your door, and you get that convenience....especially in these "comfort eating" times, of the pandemic! Not going to tell you how many days it took me to get through this pack!!! Lol

£4.95 at Ikea for the same bag size but I'm disabled and can't get there. Nice chocolates and a stocking filler gift for a picky eater but can't help but feel ripped off paying double for the convenience and exploited for having limited mobility. If the person wasn't so difficult to buy for I wouldn't have bothered. £9.29 is just too much.

When Dime bars launched in the UK they were 16p. Since then Dime has gone up and down in the UK's hearts. It's actually quite hard to find so Amazon selling these bags of Dime goodness is amazing. The choc is different nice and milky and the Daim buttery crunch that you either suck or crunch is just sublime. And no trip to Ikea necessary!

If you’re looking for mini Daim bars, these are for you. Tbh I only bought them here because I couldn’t be bothered going to IKEA to buy them. They’re more expensive than IKEA, but I guess when you factor in time, energy and petrol money it more than balances out. (I’ve never seen these bags sold anywhere else!)

If you are a fan of DAIM, then you will love this big bag, which is going to last me some time. They have a delicious crunchy inside and covered in smooth milk chocolate. If like me you didn't get an Easter egg, these will last a lot longer than just chocolate and taste a whole lot better.

I am happy enough with the product tastes as it should plenty in the bag as there should be price is a little high I will agree IKEA is cheaper but by the time I drive to IKEA and home again am cheaper just getting from Amazon

Always remind me of holidays and the airport duty free.Love the bite sized ones more than the full sized bars. Full of flavour, thoroughly enjoyable
