Why did you pick this product vs others?:These remotes have brand and model compatibility with my Genie ProMax openers. I tried a cheap brand replacement remote and they wouldn’t work. So, I bought these. Programming was super easy. Press the program button on the opener, then slowly press the remote button twice that you wish to pair. Voila! Couldn’t be any easier. I appreciate that the buttons seem hard to accidentally push. My last Genie keychain remotes kept opening the garage doors with the slightest bump. These are a huge improvement.

These controls work and function great. The programming is a touch different. The directions were poorly written.

Bought to increase range from other remotes - sometimes it does that
These are nicer remotes than the ones that came with my Genie 1028B opener. They are smaller and a bit more solidly built. I bought them as my current remotes, even after changing the batteries, had no range - I had to practically be kissing the garage door to get it to open. These sort of solve that. Sometimes I can be quite a ways away and it will open the door, other times I still need to be pretty close. I don't have to be on top the door though, which is helpful. Programming was pretty easy.

Good buy
We purchased this product as additional openers for our new home/garage. It was easy to install after we found a latter. 😉 The instructions were very detailed and simple to follow. Would recommend to anyone.
