Cougar Women's Totem Winter Boot

They are warm. Foot slides in them. Ankle gaping at the sides along the zipper after wearing a few times.

I really like cougar boots. The other pair I own have held up well in the Ohio winters, and when I saw these on sale I figured I'd grab them. As expected, the fit and comfort is great. I also like the style. The only negative is that they make my feet look absolutely huge. I'm a little taller, so I have correspondingly somewhat larger feet (sz 10-11) but goodness, these made it look like I was wearing men's work boots. I'm still keeping them as they will be very functional come winter. When it gets cold enough, and I'm out on the walking trail, I'm more worried about warmth and comfort than if my feet look big so these still fit the bill.

Fantastic boots for people who have to walk in the rain and snow!My college campus is very spread out and in the middle of the city, so I have to walk several blocks in below zero winters to get from class to class. I needed waterproof boots that would be very warm, have good traction, comfortable for walking long distances, waterproof, and hopefully didn't look totally frumpy. These fit every need!The slight wedge heel and red piping make them look much nicer than other duck boots, I've gotten several compliments on them. The materials is also much softer and more flexible than other duck boots, so they bend with your foot and don't need to be broken in. They are as lightweight as a sneaker and fit true to size. Enough room for thick socks without feeling huge on the inside.The rubber bottoms are definitely waterproof and I have not had any wet rain or snow get through the suede portion or zipper either. I wore these on a day that was negative 20 degrees with windchill, and even though every other part of my body was frozen, my feet stayed dry and warm! But even on warmer days that happen to be wet, I can wear these without my feet feeling hot or sweaty. No icky boot feet here!I've dropped serious cash on military and outdoor boots that haven't been half as good as these. The traction is also excellent on slick walks. The insole is well cushioned and I haven't had any problems walking long distances carrying heavy bags, even with my bad knees. My city also uses more salt during the winter than any other US city, seriously. The salt here absolutely destroys shoes, tires, and the undercarriage of cars. But even despite the salt, these clean off super easily and look no worse for wear.I would definitely recommend these and I'm hoping to come back for the black pair next!

I like the boots and it fits better after tightening the laces.

The design of the shoe is SO CUTE! But they just weren't comfy on my feet. Such a bummer. The area around my toes was uncomfortable and I had to return them. Wish they would have worked out because I love the plaid detailing!

Cougar brand has never let me down. These fit well and are solidly built. Can't wait to hit the streets.

Flat foot bed inside. Boots stiff at first. Get lots of compliments. Warmer than I expected. Dry, too. No leaks. Got me through the winter just fine.
