Good Metal Guitar!
I had B.C. rich warlock since Christmas and when i first pick up the guitar, the neck feel weird at first but after a few weeks, i got used of the guitar neck and be able to play fast. the only thing i don't like about this guitar is the strap holder that is place in the back of the guitar. Its a pain to deal with it but i can understand why they put the strap holder there because there was no place to put it so they put it in the back of the guitar instead. I like the shape of the guitar and the head stock because it make the guitar more aggression, dark, and serious which i like. I plug it in on my Line 6 spider IV 15 watt with ML-2 Metal Core and it had a great balanced sound. Overall, if your like Metal music (Thrash, Death, Grindcore, Black) and you want to sound like Death, Slayer, Early Metallica, Napalm Death, or other metal band (nu-metal or emo or screamo don't count), this is a guitar for you. Otherwise if your not into metal and you want rock or blues or other stuff, don't pick this up. This Guitar worth every penny because of the price and the quality of it.

Excellent Product
I bought this guitar not too long ago because I loved the sleek look of it. It reminded me a lot of Vortex's guitar (from Dimmu Borgir). I read most the reviews on here before and most of them commented about how uncomfortable it was playing with this sitting down. It's really not at all that uncomfortable. It has a really grungy sound too it, absolutely perfect for rock n roll or general metal. The finish was well done on this guitar and everything on it was in perfect condition, I could not find a single thing wrong with it. I found it very easy to play and it seems excellent on beginners. Combined with a Spider Line 6 app, it's absolutely perfect. It's pretty light compared to my other guitars as well (mainly cause it's made out of basswood).I truely recommend this guitar as it is more then what I expected from a $200 guitar.

Good but not perfect
I have an Ibanez ICX guitar that I use with heavy gauge strings mainly for playing in D and C, and I wanted another guitar to play mostly in E and E flat. I wanted 24 frets and good balance since one of my frustrations with my Ibanez is that I can't play it standing up because it is neck heavy. This guitar is a good fit for what I wanted but not perfect. First the positives: it sounds great with large differences in tone between bridge pickup and neck pickup. I think the unconventional body looks great, and I prefer this headstock to the "horns" headstock on other B.C. Rich models. The negatives: The balance of the guitar when standing is slightly neck heavy which is frustrating since if the top strap button were slightly higher up the balance would be perfect. I'm considering getting the top button adjusted. For the time being I got a Planet Waves strap that's "grippy" so I can play it standing up, but for extended soloing it still isn't perfect since the strap slides a little bit sometimes. The set up was not perfect out of the box. I believe it came with extra light 9*42 strings. This gauge is a little light for me so I was planning on switching out the strings in about a month, but I noticed the guitar going out of tune a few weeks after it arrived with the higher frets not in tune even when the open string was in tune. I hadn't even played the guitar that much, and I was surprised that B.C. Rich would ship a guitar with strings of such apparently low quality that wore out so quickly. Further the action above the 12th fret was high, though this may have been made worse because my apartment is very dry (especially in the fall and winter). I replaced the extra light strings with a light gauge 10*46. I've adjusted the truss rod and the bridge height to try to get a perfect low action set up, it has taken a lot of work and fiddling to reach and acceptable low action / minimal fret buzz set up compared to what I am used to with my Ibanez. To recap the negatives were: Not great set up out of the box, low quality strings, guitar is slightly neck heavy and difficult to play while standing, and the guitar is difficult to set up with nice low action. Some of these may have been particular to my guitar and caused by my dry apartment, and the low quality strings were more of an annoyance than a real problem. The biggest issue for me is that the guitar is slightly neck heavy, and to completely fix this issue I may have to take it in to change the location of the top strap button. Overall I recommend the guitar with reservations. It does look great and sound great.

Unless you like your guitar in the shape of a fish dont get this
Alright Ive used this guitar for about 3-4 weeks its extremely uncomfortable to play when sitting down so this would only be comfortable to play while standing up with a strap on bottom line is the guitar looks "cool" at first but at this price a lot of kids will be buying this guitar thus making the unique look it has not so unique so if you buying this for the looks save your money its uncomfortable as hell to play while sitting down

it was a beautiful guitar, flawless in appearance
I returned mine because it wouldn't stay in tune and because the neck is much heavier than the body, as others have stated. If I released my grip on the neck, it would point straight down. Couldn't be fixed without moving the strap holders to compensate for the weight difference. Other than that, it was a beautiful guitar, flawless in appearance, neatly packed and if nothing else, would look great hanging on your music room's wall. But then again, I'm a novice player with a 25 year old Strat, so I'm used to an entirely different type of guitar. If you know guitars and are comfortable tweaking them a bit, you'll probably love the Warlock.
