This is achieved by fermenting the grape must for a slightly shorter time to preserve the natural sugars in the fruit, which give the Fine White its flavours of honey and nectar and its slightly richer amber hue. It has sweet citrus characteristics and maintains a good balance of freshness and delicacy. It should be served chilled, between 6 and 10 degrees celsius.

totally converted to white port!
We have had many a glass of port over the years and enjoy both the Tawney and the Ruby versions (preferring the Tawney personally)We had a trip to Lisbon this year and went for a spot of wine and port tasting, expensive but amazing. So we started off with a white port served chilled/cold (informed this is how it should be drank and not room temp!) and was immediately blown away. Ruby port to be drank in days, Tawny within a couple of months - probably why it never lasts long in our house!White port is expensive compared to a lot of the other ports, so to find this offer we jumped at it - twice! The port is smooth, really has a good long lasting taste and is very easy to drink (maybe a little too easy!We are looking at a 3rd purchase as we are so impressed and may give a couple away as presents (may!)

Wonderful stuff!!
We got the first case when this was on offer, and have been watching for the price to come down ever since. In the end we have had to order again at the full price, because this is by far the best white port we have e ever sampled.Go on treat yourself. We will not be disappointed.

Drink with cheese
Served cold from the fridge this is delicious with any cheese. Actually it is great anyway, with or without the cheese.
