Great for small works!
The mini heat gun is a versatile and compact tool perfect for small-scale crafting projects like embossing, resin work, and heat-shrinking. It heats up quickly, delivering consistent heat, and is easy to maneuver thanks to its lightweight design. While it lacks temperature control and isn't ideal for large tasks, its portability and affordability make it an excellent choice for crafters. Overall, it's a reliable, budget-friendly option for anyone needing quick and precise heat application.

Fabulous mini heat gun
Perfect, it’s light weight and works exactly as advertised. I have a full sized heat gun and I prefer the mini. The size makes it easier to maneuver. I highly recommend this product.

Doesn't last long
This heat gun is very easy to use. I bought it to heat the bubbles out of resin. A con of this heat gun is that it blows quite a bit of air, making the resin move too much. Another con is that it doesn't last long. I used the heatgun for about 4 months and then it just stopped working. A pro is that it heats up immediately and stays hot. Another pro is that when my heat gun did eventually stop working Amazon sent me a replacement and I returned the nonworking one. The power cord is pretty short, but if you have a small workspace like me it isn't a problem. Overall, it's a good value for the price.

I love it.
I bought it initially, for an art project of melting crayon on canvas, which I've done quite a few times and it does the job perfect. Follow the directions and don't keep a constant use of more than 10-15 without a cool down period, because it will get too hot but if used correctly and not overheated, it's great. I've also used to help dry glue and clay, also worked like a charm.

Tiny heat gun big blow.
Its smaller than my manly heat gun but it's all about how you use it....or so I'm told. It works well given the size and it's easier to store around my workstation. My only complaint....and it's nothing major. I can't have this out while clients are over. I've been asked more than several times to not leave my sex toys out in the open.

Fan can get caught on wires causing overheat
This is a good product for the price. However, there is a safety caveat. The device has a fan in the rear just above the vents. The wiring for the on/off switch also occupies this space. The fan blades can get caught on the wiring, preventing the fan operation, and which means there is no cooling air supplied to the heating coils. This can overheat the unit and melt the side plastic.I was able to fix mine easily but was alarmed at first because of the overheating. This unit should be relatively loud, if it is quiet or silent, or if you notice the coils are heating up (mine got orange-hot), or smell burning plastic, then shut it off immediately, unplug, and check the fan / wiring cavity.
