1000 Pin-up Girls: Twenty Fifth Anniversary Edition Paperback – January 1, 2008

I bought this book as inspo for a modeling shoot and I love the way it looks on my coffee table. Way less pretentious than just a book of my work (which was what was there before). 10/10 for making me not look pretentious. 5 stars.

Nice and colorful pictures. Really thick book. I hadn't seen a lot of these pictures before. Really cool stuff.

I got the hard cover, it was smaller format than I expected at less than 6x8. With over 500 pages, its an ok price per page. Enjoying browsing through the various magazine covers and excerpts, none of which I had ever heard of. It was from an older time frame than I expected, was looking more for something like The Great American Pin-Up.

I bought this book as a Christmas gift for my BFF. We both appreciate pin-up art and lovely women. I bought this for her in the hopes she would enjoy it as a nightstand or coffee table book, to casually flip through when relaxing. I accompanied it with a pretty bookmark, so she could keep marked wherever she left off. She enjoyed the gift, glad this book made her smile. :-D

No real story here but like the title promises about a thousand images of pinup women. Many from the covers of magazines of the period. So while no real commentary the images thenself do tell a story of sorts.

Good book. Would recommend.

Only paid $9(incl S/H) BUT: 60+% of pics(mostly the Covers of various mags) are 'cropped off' usually at bottom & sides of pages: at the 'expense' of us who love leg/Feet(and shoes too),& actually everyone.There are Duplicates too.Pages/Cover are good quality...OVERALL: Taschen should be ashamed of Butchering/Botching this book!!(It's $20ish less retail price than most of their vast array of titles but...GGGRRRR & BOO!)

Great little book. Takes you back to the 40s onwards and the kind of images shown in American magazines of the time. It has been a great inspiration in my studio of the type of photos we have tried to reproduce. Great fun.

Such a beautiful book.. My husband can't put it down ;)

La copertina era rovinata come se fosse usato e trattato con superficialità, ma nella sfortuna lo preferisco che gli dà quel tocco di vintage. Completamenti in inglese immagini originali dell'epoca bellissimo
