Much better design
I already had several other cutter for copper pipe cutting but bought this one for tight space and slimmer minimum length design. All I can say is this is a much better design. All you have to do is keep rotating clockwise no need to adjust screw every few turns. The cut is also very clean. Highly recommended.

No wonder plumbers across the US have these in their tool buckets!
This cutter is so incredibly easy to use and really leaves a beautifully finished cut. The cuts are straight and precise, ready to use with a quick deburring.I'm honestly surprised I waited so long to own one of these cutters but I'm certainly pleased to now have it in my arsenal of plumbing tools.I plan on purchasing additional sizes and also the very efficient ratcheting handle.Great tool, highly recommended.

Best "Standard" Copper Cutter Around....
This cutter is really designed for tight spaces and can be a real lifesaver. For years while working as a plumber I found it more handy to use than the large conventional cutters. Naturally, it has drawbacks, but they aren't huge. That is why I give it 4 stars.Pro's: Simple to use. Clamp on and twist (trick, follow the arrow for at least a turn, then try reversing a bit, then going forward a turn, reversing a bit... etc. It works faster with less burs)LightweightGood grip (when dry)Strong/Well built (I have many that are over 10 years old)Fast (When used with my technique, I can cut copper pipe in a few seconds, much faster than other cutters)Con's: Hard to change the blades out (but not impossible, and the blades are very cheap to buy)When wet, they are hard to start at times.Cuts are not always without burs. (you still must debur, sand, etc...)Overall, if you do a lot of copper work, whether plumbing, or hvac, you need these tools. Be aware, they are not adjustable, so if you are cutting specialty copper, these will take a while. I don't recommend for extra thick copper or "soft/rolled" copper.I will continue to recommend and if needed, buy more in the future. Auto-cuts have a definite advantage over other knockoffs that feature an open design. They just aren't as good at staying put and slip off, which is dangerous.

A must-have pipe tubing cutter for tough to reach places
I love this tool! I have always struggled to cut a pipe inside a wall or in a confined space, and reaching the tightening knob on a standard cutter was always a challenge. Click this easy-to-use tool onto the pipe, turn it around a few times and you get a nice clean & straight cut. I don't know how I ever got by without it. Definitely recommend...

Excellent tool worth every penny.
I was very nervous about cutting my copper pipes for a DIY project, but this tool made it so easy. Simply snap it on your pipe and make sure it "clicks" shut and begin to turn in the direction of the arrow printed on the tool. Turn 20-30 or so times until the pipe pieces separate (don't stop early when it feels ready to pull apart, keep turning until the pieces physically come apart). It's basically impossible to not get a straight/level cut because of the way the tool grips the pipe. I did some practice cuts on some sample size pieces of copper, and I could not tell the difference between where I'd cut and the other end of the pipe each time. It will fit in a tight area easily, and it doesn't require much effort to twist. I can't think of any way to improve the cutter; it's designed perfectly.

Easy way to cut copper
This is great for cutting a lot copper pipe quickly without having to manually tighten a cutting wheel. It works well in tight spaces and I also like how it completely closes around the pipe for a better hold.
