This was the best thing I ever purchased for my loved one who is paralyzed. It has made changing so much easier. It slides so easily. It’s wonderful and the handles are placed just where you need them.

Leaving a review for this is hard, but if you’re looking for something to help a family member move around and help the caregivers move your family member that is bed ridden this is it! This is just like the pads on hospital mattresses. The pad is great for turning an incapacitated individual. Allows for smooth transition of your patient or loved one to another bed or a chair. The pad makes it more comfortable and safer for them also. There are several handles on this pad which makes it much easier for a solo caregiver. The stitching on them remains secure even under heavy weight. Definitely decreases strain on the caregivers back and arm muscles. Washes well, has great surface area and coverage, and didn’t shrink or pucker after drying.

This is a nice large pad that works well for repositioning. The stitching is done very well and I feel the handles will last. We need this for a gentlemen who spends most of his days (and many nights) in a recliner chair. He tends to slide down while sitting up, so when he reclines he's "hunched." The top straps are wonderful for this and the mat is a perfect size to tuck under a folded top sheet. The fact that it is waterproof is a nice bonus. The only thing that I would change would be the flip in the handles. They are twisted when sewn on so that you can grab flat. I would prefer that they be stiched without this flip. Any loop will do for grasping, but a flip in the handle means it doesn't lay down flat when not in use. Other than that I think this is a great mat.
