Hollyland Keeps Raising the Bar
I’ve always been impressed with Hollyland’s products, and they’ve upped it again with the Lark Max M2. This system is packed with features that go way beyond what I expected. The wireless earbuds are a total game changer—especially for my media students. Being able to monitor audio clearly and discreetly is going to take their projects to a whole new level. The sound quality is excellent—clean, crisp, and reliable. But what really stands out is the flexibility. The addition of an adapter to use lav mics only when needed is just brilliant. It keeps the setup simple when you want it, and pro-level when you need it.With options like timecode support and the ability to pair up to four mics to a single receiver, you can customize the setup to fit just about any production scenario. Whether it’s a solo shoot, multi-person interview, or classroom project, it’s got you covered.Yes, there’s a bit of a learning curve because there are so many settings—but that’s actually a good thing. Once you get the hang of it, you realize how much control you really have. The only area that could use improvement is the printed instructions—they’re a bit hard to follow. But Hollyland has solid tutorials online, so it’s easy to figure out once you head to their site.Bottom line: this is another big win from Hollyland. Whether you're teaching, creating content, or working professionally, the Lark Max M2 delivers

Gamechanger with a few improvements needed
I've been testing this the past few days and it's really a solid product with great quality audio and easy to use hardware.I have a few suggestions for Hollyland though:1. Create a way for the mics to be control-locked even if they are out of range of an RX. I'll be using these as stand-alone recorders and I really don't want the controls be adjusted accidentally.2. The current default setting of overwriting audio once storage capacity is reached is not intuitive and places recordings at risk. Make it user-selectable for whether we want recording to be stopped when max storage is reached, or for overwrite to be enabled.

AMAZING! The Wireless Voice Monitoring is a HUGE game changer
The media could not be loaded. These bad boys sound good out of the box! They feel premium and the transmitters are super light weight at 14g! You get so many accessories!! I am very picky when it comes to wireless mics and these have already exceeded my expectations!! Even the touch controls on the camera receiver is very easy to get the hang of! Also the windmuffs clip on the mics better than any mics I’ve used! Another big plus for people who shoot with a camera is that the camera receiver can mount facing forwards and backwards.

Best lav mic system
Fantastic mic system! I have previously used the DJI mics (version 1), and these can do absolutely everything plus more features for an even better price. Also love how small they are! I use primarily for weddings and interviews and can hide the mic very easily because of how small they are. Also the ability to monitor them wirelessly is another huge bonus. Highly recommend these!!

Great Mic Hardware, But App & Software Need Serious Work
I bought the Hollyland Lark MAX 2 Combo Wireless Lavalier Microphones, and while the microphones themselves are excellent in build and sound quality, the overall user experience falls short due to the app and software. The Lark app on iOS is buggy it doesn’t automatically recognize the RX unit even when connected, requiring manual addition each time. The app features are extremely limited and don’t feel cohesive with the hardware. Noise cancellation above +15dB creates a synthetic, unrealistic voice, which is disappointing for professional use.The charging case oddly displays the timezone, which cannot be changed, and overall, it feels like Hollyland rushed the product to market before fully testing and stabilizing the app. The hardware is solid, but the supporting software experience needs significant improvements to match it.

But it was still a good product
The sound delay from the ear pod still noticeable 🤔
