They work perfectly. There are other pens, made of aluminum with those big rubber tips, that just felt too light in my hand. This one is hard tipped and has enough heft to make me feel like I'm holding an actual pen in my hand.

I've been interested in an active stylus with a fine point, like this one, for a long time, for a very specific purpose, so checking this out was a no-brainer. Unfortunately, I'm a bit disappointed.On my Pixel 9 Pro, I have a security camera app that allows creating active areas in which motion will be detected. This is done by adding a polygon, selecting any of the six provided points, and dragging them into the desired shape and boundaries. Using a finger, or even a generic, non-active stylus with one of those big rubber bumps on it, is not very precise. The fine point on this stylus, I thought, should make the whole process easier.Now, for basic navigation, scrolling, etc. -- anything that are basically just large gestures -- this stylus is great. Even very fine control of objects (lines, polygon points, and the like) in the center area of the screen works pretty well. For normal day-to-day stuff, this is a great replacement for your finger and provides a little finer selection and control, which is handy, and worth having.Where this stylus does not quite succeed, not just on my Pixel 9 Pro but also on my Lenovo and Samsung tablets, is near the edges of the screen. An easy way to see the problem is to select a Photo, edit and go to Markup, and start drawing a line from the center of the screen to the left and/or right edge. What you'll see is that the line starts out directly under the stylus tip, but as you get within 1/2" if the edge of the screen, the line starts to "lag" behind the tip. By the time the tip gets to the edge of the screen, the end of the line you are drawing is off by at least 1/4". This not only affects writing, markup, and sketching, but also how precisely shapes and polygons can be made near the edges.This problem does not seem to be related to screen size, resolution, display zoom, or any display / accessibility settings. This stylus just stops tracking well near the edges, with or without a case installed (so not related to magnets), even with the phone or tablet sitting on a table while not holding or touching the device with your hand or fingers at all. In contrast, while it's not very precise, I can use my finger or a cheap non-active stylus and drag those lines and shapes all the way to the edge of the screen.It is certainly possible that this is an issue that impacts many or all powered touch-screen stylus, or this type of stylus on all Android devices. In which case the manufacturer may not be able to do much about it. But even if that is the case, this rating would apply to all such stylus, and this one would be no exception.That issue does not make this pen useless, just less useful than it could and should be. If it were as precise at the screen edges as it is near the center of the screen, it would be five stars, easy. But right now it simply is not, since I can be more accurate across the entire screen with even the tip of my finger.

4 stars simply because it was a gift n l bever used it but my mother in law likes it

Good size, works perfectly, and recharges quickly. I highly recommend it.
