TekneticsPatriot Metal Detector

I got it out for the first time today and went to a park 30 miles away, I also took my CZ6 to compare the two machines, I did not see any difference in the depth of the two on air test. in the ground I think the Patriot ID's better, the Patriot is a lot lighter to swing for any amount of time. Dont get me wrong the CZ6 is a great machine and is hard to beat. But I can do the same thing with the patriot for a lot longer time in the field swinging before I have to take a break. I found the DD coil a little different and had trouble pin pointing at first , but after about an hour I was pin pointing like a pro. Love the Patriot and will definitely be using it a lot of the time. Great machine for the $$$

Good simple detector. I have a Nokta Legend which is built much better, but much more complicated to learn, for a grab and go detector, this would be hard to beat.

The only metal detector I've owned was a Tesoro Compadre. It's perfect for what I need but I wanted the ability to detect in the wet sand at the beach and it was worthless at that. After buying the Patriot I haven't used it since but it's still there if I need it or a friend wants to go. This one is just so much fun to use and is really worth a lot more than you pay for it. This is a great metal detector! Well made and performs excellent. It has great ergonomics and is comfortable to use. It is not what I would call a beginner detector. There are quite a few adjustments that can be frustrating if your don't understand what they can do to your performance. It does perform amazing though. Excellent depth, recovery speed, and separation. It is quite a detector and can easily keep up with modern machines.

i think its going to be a good one

Very nice metal detector and very accurate. I'm a first time user and was able to use it the first day out. I love all of the settings and how versatile it is. Read your book 2 or three times so you understand how to set it up. Don't complain about it not working for you if you don't know how to read and follow directions.

I got it on march 30 2018 and it is already broke.. It did good on air test but wouldn't pick copper pennies deeper than 4 inches in the ground regardless of what I set it at. I dug 130 copper pennies and a few zinc pennies 9 clad quarters,5 clad dimes,and a few nickles, none were deep. No silvers.

Started finding coins petty much right out of the box. Seems to be a well built. Read the instruction before using will help along with watching some youtube videos. Have found some coins at around 7 to 8" deep so far here in Kansas soil. Really liking it so far.
