Less than 10 minutes to swap the whole thing
I’m really happy with this. I looked at a lot of different ones. I went with reviews and people that were able to put them on easily.I took my car to a shop to black out the window trim and I mentioned that I had bought this and they said oh don’t do that. It’s got all kinds of sensors and stuff in there. Just bring it in here.I watched more videos on YouTube of people replacing their girls and I thought unless my car has some freakish amount of unknown controls in the grill, I’m gonna do this.It literally took like five minutes. The things I saw from the videos I watched is when you are pushing down on the clips don’t push hard cause you could break the clip and just be sure that you don’t have a camera or something in there first so that you don’t pull on it. You can disconnect the camera put it in the new grill and then reconnect it and mount it, or you can take the camera out leave it connected and then put it back in which I would recommend unplugging the camera and then moving it to the new girl just to avoid any mishaps.I really like this. It’s a cool look for the car. Highly recommend.

My second one bought
Bought this for my daughter’s new car. It was really easy to install. She was in an accident so I had to purchase a second one. If you looking to black out your grill definitely by this one.

Fits great, if you break it during install - it’s your own fault
Fits great on my 2019 BMW X3 M40i. It’s plastic and if you’re not careful, you’ll break the tabs and then come on here and complain when it’s your own fault.

Could be better
My experience: attempted to swap the entire assembly and nearly all clips broke. At first I was upset and going to return it but then realized that the shroud cover attached to the grill could be swapped with the chrome shroud on my OEM grill. Overall the finish is great and matches my X3 M40i black accents, so I still give it a 3 as I was able to swap the shrouds and get the look I was going for. However, -2 stars due to fragile tabs that broke on install. I basically paid $90 for the cover attached to the grill, which is "okay" at best due to low cost of this item.
