I wish I could have given this a better rating. If only the quality control in America meant anything anymore. First use the opener broke at the handle. I've had several different types of these openers and they all seem to wear down in time.I can't justify spending $45 or more for the better ones as it's a wine bottle opener. A manual one you can find in stores for a few bucks will do the same trick. I was hoping this would last at the price point, but they just don't. I had purchased some, (for some friends,) from another company with a lifetime warranty and they broke, several times, until we just decided to give up. I kept telling them it was operator error as mine had lasted a bit longer. I was, however, mistaken, as mine broke just the same, only a little while later. Not worth the boxes their shipped in, in my opinion.

We've had one for a long time. All those other gadgets just require too much technique and strength! This wine opener seems to make it look like a breeze! That point where the silver handle looks a little weak. Well, they didn't break.

I bought similar one from ALDI, misplaced; This one replaced it with right price. I Opened One bottle, Closed by stopper. All good, I have no complain . It appears that it's pretty steady.

A little pricy.

I should have returned this. The screw either slipped into the cork and out again, or pushed the cork into the bottle. I had a previous version of this, apparently identical, which I used for years with great success, until it finally broke, after opening over 1,000 bottles. I was unable to determine why this one doesn't work, but it's now in a landfill. I have ordered an OXO, and you bet I'm going to return that one if it doesn't work.

Great wine opener not too big just one hand size. This works perfectly,not too small so you don’t need worried lose it again and again. My wife likes drinks wine and this one it’s easy use not hard for female.
