Columbia Men's Airgill Chill Zero Long Sleeve Shirt (Omni-Freeze ZERO)

Short version:Size pretty normal for American sizes. If you're perfectly stuck between 2 sizes, round up. But it's very close to standard.Pros:-Does cool you-Very nice construction. Looks sharp. I'd wear them all the time if it weren't for the back (see cons)-Really great design. The patch of special fabric to clean glasses sewn on the bottom is BRILLIANT (but almost useless because it needs to be 35% bigger wah-wah)-Sun protection is great-Roll up sleeves with snaps are another illustration of thoughtful construction. (But yet another see cons)-You will love, love, love catching a strong breeze in this shirt.-Prevents you from smelling like a stinky cheese at Whole Foods.Cons:-Holy friggin puddle of sweat Batman. It seems to work by turning you into a human swimming pool. NOTICEABLY more than other omni-freeze products. (I've overheard people commenting I looked like I was about to OD LoL)-The back looks like you are the final survivor from a "Nightmare in Elm Street" movie. Although it's great for a breeze, I'd wear this shirt when not dancing if the back was normal.-Price. It is a really well made shirt, but good god. I suggest kidnapping unattended children and selling them into domestic servitude to help save for one. Just kidding. You won't make enough to afford one.-Care. you CANNOT use ANY kind of stain treatment, or color safe bleach etc on this fabric. I ruined one disregarding this advice. They repel stains well, but once you get one....it's probably there for good.-Sleeve snaps cause me to cuss like Q-Bert because they are so tough to "click" together.-Glasses patch is not only too small but also useless when you're drenched. I really hope they trouble shoot this a bit cause it would potential be the most useful shirt feature ever for us spectacled folks.Why I bought one:I have been dancing at raves for 13 years and I'm passionate about various street styles of dance--particularly Liquid, Popping and Botting. The problem is that all of these dances, but particularly Liquid (check youtube users BassBeatsBanging or DarkMatterEric if you're curious) really looks best with your elbows covered because a pointed elbow "breaks" the illusion.So. Dancing, in long sleeves, in a hot non-a/c warehouse in the summer or outdoors on concrete under the July sun. Not exactly the best idea ever.The older I get the more the heat bothers me.So...this shirt does work well. IF YOU'RE EXPECTING AN ARTIC BLAST TO FREEZE YOU TO SHIVERS.... That item doesn't exist.It will keep your temp down, But as with any cooling fabric (I own lots due to my hobby) your body will only "notice" the cooling for a few minutes after you begin sweating. So how do you know it works? I have swapped shirts before to see if these were hype and you do notice a difference quickly when putting it one after a t-shirt.

Have several of them. Can't believe what they cost...best outdoor summer heat shirt you can buy. Any breeze at all givesyou great ventilation. Looks great on or off the water. You definitely have to pay for it.

I have many different kinds of pfgs and the airgill chill is by far the greatest. Wicks sweat very well, keeps you super cool it almost feels as if I'm wearing no shirt at all. I will defiantly be buying more of these !!! Great buy from amazon

Summers in Florida are super hot and humid. This shirt does such a fantastic job of protecting me from the sun's rays and keeping me cool, that I bought two. One is saved for everyday use and one is just for doing yard work. These shirts are worth the cost!

I got this for my father who sails in the hot florida summer. He was skeptical... He is quite happy with the shirt and says that it does keep him cooler. He looks better dressed too...
