Excellent packaging by amazon! The build quality of the laptop is top notch as it should at this price point. The screen quality is great and the thing I love about most is the lightweight and easy to carry around and carry on with work at anytime without worries, the keyboard of the laptop is of great quality and feel. Speaking about carrying, it has long battery life which is great at all the tasks which we put forth to it. Coming to the performance of the laptop. There is where this laptop shines as it has the M4 chip, it blazes through all the tasks which it is being faced with. The RAM is managed well within and not throttle itself, the internal storage is alright but the better idea would be using a external SSD or HDD to expand the storage options. Eco-system works great with seamless transfer from mobile to laptop then ipad, so its working as it should be! which is good!So, Yes the macbook is expensive compared to windows but the eco-system and the value you get from apple like software update, support and durability is way ahead and better. If gaming is your main priority then this is the worst option which you could go for! because there are very limited games and there is no physical fan in the laptop so framerate will be really bad and unplayable (tried a couple of games!).So, for whom the laptop is?? It's for working professionals and for students who are looking for great battery life and not to worry about anything else regarding the software and ease of use!I hope this helps! Cheers!

This MacBook Air is incredibly functional and smooth right out of the box – setup is quick and intuitive. The M4 chip makes multitasking seamless, whether I’m working, editing, or using Apple Intelligence features. The Midnight finish looks stunning and feels premium, while the build quality is as solid as ever. Battery life is impressive, easily lasting a full day of use. Lightweight yet powerful, it’s perfect for both productivity and portability. A brilliant upgrade with excellent balance between performance and design.

This is a fantastic laptop and for the price is a bargain. Battery life is incredible, very thin and light with good build quality, and the screen is great quality as you would expect with Apple Products. The M4 chip has run cool so far and has handled everything quickly.Having used MacBook Pro's for work, the screen on the Pro variants has 120hz so seem smoother and the brightness is more, but not worth the extra £500+. The benefit of the Air variant is how slim and light it and is definitely noticeable and for my use cases I prefer that over the heaviness of the Pro models.The Sky Blue colour is really nice, depending on the light it comes across as silver, but the subtle blue is great for someone like me who doesn't like standout colours.If you are looking for the best all round laptop on the market, and you are invested in the Apple ecosystem with iPhone, iPad etc I cannot recommend this enough. If anything wish I had bought it sooner.

10/10 the screen quality is amazing and the true tone makes everything look so much better. The size is perfect the 13 inch is just the write size to put in my bag and take around with me especially when travailing. The battery life lasts all day long even when using it a lot for work. The brightness is great but you probably wont need to put it at 100% most of the time. The apple intelligence and general Bluetooth features with other apple devices is just amazing. having my phone connected or just being about to scan documents on my phone and having them show on my Mac just makes everything so much more simple and easy to do. The touch ID makes it much quicker and safer to sign in.

Set up was very simple - although it did need a large update immediately which can be frustrating when you want to get going and explore it. The laptop itself is very light so no concerns about carrying it around all day. From what I've done with it so far, it's very fast and seems quite powerful for its size. The colour is gorgeous and the charging cable it came with matches, which is a nice touch. There's a light on the charger where it connects to the laptop which is orange when charging and green when fully charged, again, a small thing but a nice touch.Can't speak on battery life as I haven't used it extensively, but I'm very impressed so far with the size and quality.The inbuilt migration assistant did all the work for me when setting up which was a huge help.Initial cost for apple products can be high, but the quality and longevity are worth it.

No issues with the item itself - so far -but very disappointing finding a £900 item in an empty box just banging around without any paper protection.

I have had several Apple laptops since 2007 when I left the Windows/Intel world. Since the M1 came out in 2020, they have /massively/ improved in terms of performance and battery life. This one replaces my "old" M1 (which is as good a new apart from a slight mark on one corner) which is passed down to my 16 yo son. So, how is this one (M4)? ... MARVELOUS!! Great performance, great display, great keyboard, and great price. Great to have the mag-safe charger port back. ====> Without a doubt, the M4 MacBook Air warrants 5 stars.

Finest MacBook they've ever produced & I've had them all. These are fabulous. Yes, they could do with a few more ports & yer, maybe a better screen refresh rate - but build quality, M4 performance, style & design plus the fluidity, reliability & security of Mac OS - makes this era luxurious machine at very much less than luxurious prices. Some great discounts & deal around too - Amazon have lowered the price of mine by almost £100 since I bought mine - so grab a bargain from Amazon whilst you still can & if you're among for the base 256Gb model; my advice is, spring for the 512gb SSD model as you'll also get the GPU upgrade as well as double the storage thrown in (10c/10c rather than 10c/8c on the 256Gb model).
