Overall great boots
These are pretty good boots. They are well made and the soles are comfortable to walk around in. My main complaints are minor, but the boots seemed to run about a half size or so too large, and the padding around the opening could be thicker. The latter point is probably temporary as it should soften up after the break in period, but I would recommend getting a half size smaller than usual at least and see how they fit. Overall though I think they're very good and would recommend them.

Short tongues = rubbed shins
I like almost everything about these boots, except that the tongue of the boot is lower, than the top lace holes. It can be a bit painful when you are in a situation of needing to cinch your laces down & the top of your laces start rubbing on your shins. These need longer tongues.

Great boots with a few almost catches to know.
After cutting through the extravagant amount of shrinkwrap these boots shipped in, I was impressed. For almost 20 years I've had a pair of larger anniversary edition spiffy black Columbia snow boots I loved. Last fall I discovered the rubber soles and pieces started breaking, peeling and falling totally apart. These popped up and look to be dang good replacements and a 1/4 of the price. These look solid. Don't see any appearance issues or bad sole gluing type things. Soles are nicely knocked for traction. Above ankle height and provide lots of stability support. Overall look to be good boots. Now the few things that almost make me take a star away. The thickness of the bottom of sole tread to my foot is pretty minimal. Can feel the ground like if stepping on a single rock it doesn't poke or hurt but I feel it more than I'd hope. BUT my feeling changed because it was easy to drive in these too, which is rare for larger boots. Had better feel of the pedals so I quite liked that.I did feel the upper edges on my ankles so maybe a bit more cushion around the edge although they should wear in overtime maybe.Lastly, I think I'd prefer having the 1 or 2 lace hooks on each side at the top instead of these having only full lace loops for there. Yet the laces and metal lace loops are nice and easy to tighten and loosen making these nice to get in and out of as they are.So my issues weren't enough for me to view these boots less than a great boot and haven't gotten wet feet in them so far.

Not for duty use
[PROS] I am using these boots for days at the range. So far, so good. However, there are limitations that need to be said. This doesn’t mean these are bad boots nevertheless. The strongest points in my opinion, are the grip and appearance. I like the clean modern look, and there are no obnoxious logos/graphics to be seen. I haven’t used them in a wet environment, so I don’t know how they would perform.I would categorize these boots as hiking/casual outdoor-activity boots. They don’t provide much protection at all; I can actually feel rocks and other objects through the bottom of the shoes (as the soles are more of a softer rubber). But using these in the desert feels good. Combined with some nice grip socks, I stay comfortable all day.[CONS] I have no complaints.[SUMMARY] These are good boots, with the caveat that they are NOT suitable as a working boot, especially in the context of construction, law enforcement, military, etc. Besides this, they do work well. In a controlled safe environment, they are enjoyable. For sizes, I recommend rounding up. 11 feels good when I usually wear 10.5-11.

Need A Half A Size Smaller but Comfortable to Wear!
I recently bought these Men's Waterproof Hiking Boots for outdoor adventures, and overall, I’m quite satisfied. They are lightweight and provide excellent traction, making them perfect for hiking, mountain camping, and trails. The water-repellent feature is a great bonus, keeping my feet dry during wet conditions. However, I found that they run about a half size too big, which is something to consider when purchasing. Despite this, they are very comfortable to wear, allowing for long hikes without discomfort. All in all, these boots are an excellent choice for outdoor enthusiasts, and I would recommend them, just be mindful of sizing!

For long days working the yard
I decided to get this so I don't have to do the yard work this summer in my business shoes. Tennis shoes don't last long in this yard though, so I figured hiking boots might get the job done.Let me tell you though, these are rugged and comfortable. Definitely breathe easy. I haven't had the chance to test whether they are waterproof, but that's not a huge concern for me and I'm sure they are fine. The laces are very durable and strong. The sizing was perfect. Does not feel too snug anywhere. I would 100% recommend these. Especially if anyone is doing any heavy farm/outdoor work.
