Great but Not Enough FFVIII
Love this so much, but I have to agree, for people like myself whose favorite is VIII, we’re not getting as much content as the other two games in this book. FF8 only features 69 (nice) pages as opposed to FF7 with 113 pages and FF9’s whopping 125 pages. I genuinely feel VIII is very underrated and it’s vindicated by this fact, but either way, I still adore this book. The content has some REALLY gorgeous art, interesting looks into storyboarding and initial drawings, and the binding and cover are definitely a nice quality. I really would recommend this for Final Fantasy fans and am planning to get the other two volumes. (I just wanted the one with my favorite installment first)

A good book for fans of final fantasy games
If you love Amano's art this is a great way to access it. Although some of the art is small, lots of it is good sized. There are lots of facts about the game's development and even things like concept maps for areas. If you love final fantasy games you will like this publication!

FF7/FF8 fanatic approved!
Whenever you look at book art and contemplate the amount of ink required to make it, that usually means high quality! I’m getting older so this was more of a nostalgia purchase. But it’s great to know this book will last for a long time.

Es hermoso
Lo pedí y llegó rápido, aunque lamentablemente el libro llegó golpeado en la parte superior (no sé si fue en Amazon o cuando llegó a mi pais), pero el contenido es muy bueno :o

Cool Book with Good Artwork
This book covers FF VII, VIII, & IX. If this was the FF generation you grew up playing you will definitely enjoy the nostalgia of revisiting each game and their beautiful artwork as you page through this book.

Just what I expected, all smiles
The storyboards for final fantasy 8 are so detailed in this book! You don't get to see this kind of thing anywhere else, so I'm glad I got the second volume. That's the reason why I buy the Ultimania Archive. It is a selective collection of developer materials to get an inside look at how they put the game together. Each book particularly highlights the unique planning changes occurring in the development of each installment. Some installments change development practices drastically, while others didn't change all that much.
