These things are razor sharp, you have to be careful with these. Light weight, love the function of the speeds.

Recommended with some caveats
I've been using hair clippers on myself for over 20 years and still have the first one I ever bought for ten bucks. It's a plug-in and it works admirably given it's age and simplicity. That's what I'll be comparing this new VGR battery powered full feature clipper to.It's surprisingly close in size (this one is slightly smaller), weight (this one is a bit heavier due to the onboard battery), and cutting width (just a fuzz skinnier) to my old one. No real winner in the measurements. Both even have roughly the same noise level while in use.Features: This one has a bunch of features that my old one doesn't. Adjustable speed blades, but I honestly can't figure out why I would ever want to adjust them... A headlight, but I'd imagine that's only really useful if you're cutting someone else's hair and doing it in the dark for some reason. Ceramic cutting blades instead of steel - I couldn't really tell the difference though. It has a bunch of stuff related to the battery too - digital display screen that shows blade speed and time left on the charge. A usb-A to usb-c cable (but no wall plug... C'mon man!). A charging cradle - though the unit has a charging port on itself too. I think all that might be features for features sake to justify the price though.Accessories: comes with 4x hair length guards/guides - 1.5mm, 3.0, 4.5, and 6.0mm. My old one came with 6 combs from #1 - 1/8inch (3mm) to #4 - 1/2inch (13mm). Unfortunately these are model specific and not interchangable. This one comes with a relatively huge 1.8fl.oz. bottle of blade oil which is super nice. It also comes with a weirdly sized brush that has no use - much too big for a clipper cleaning brush and much too small for a hair styling brush. I don't know what it's for! I would have very much preferred a clipper maintenance brush be included. I think my old clippers get the edge for included accessories.Use: Not having a wire attached and being bound to within 5-feet of a wall outlet is honestly great! The cord was always a hassle, but I didn't realize how much until I could cut without it. The ~4-hour battery life they claim is more than enough as I didn't see ever using it for more than maybe 20-minutes at a time. It had sufficient power to last for my entire cut, but it's new out of the box... I hope I can still say that a year or two from now. VGR is the winner hands down.Looks: The VGR looks sleek and modern with it's turquoise trim. The rubber grip sleeve actually does improve the handling and control while cutting. Well done.Other: I wish the box was a better storage box. Bathroom counter space is at a premium, so this will live in a drawer for the month or two between haircuts. It comes in a fancy (and weirdly slippery) cardboard box. A storage case would have been nice at this price.Bottom line: it does it's core job well, but leaves something to be desired in this price range as far as features and accessories go. I'd recommend it if you value cordless clipping freedom instead of the basic competent value of a plug-in unit. 4*

A nice haircut suit
This hair clipper is great, beautiful in appearance, very practical for beginners, and the display can show how much power is left.

Great
My hubby needed a new trimmer and he loved this one. I’m not really sure what all it comes with, but his cut turned out great, Works well, a great value for his money and super lightweight to where he can travel with it.

Nice, but overpriced
Works well. Lightweight without feeling cheap. A decent assortment of attachments/accessories. I have several sets of clippers, but none in this price point; I don't think these are any better than some I've gotten closer to $30. I've only used it a handful of times so I can't weigh in on longevity, but I will say that it feels sturdy and I think it'll hold up for a while.
