I have a Samsonite with TSA007 lock and it wouldn't open for some reason. I didn't change the combo. After searching around for work-arounds I got these, and it popped the lock right open. Work perfectly for me

I ordered two straight shackle padlocks for my Milwaukee packout boxes, they ended up not working but I digressThe padlocks I purchased happened to be TSA Style combination locks. I followed the instructions and changed the combination. Now, I don't know if it was my fingers being too fat or my elevated THC levels but long story short one of the the new padlocks was now locked and only usable as a paper weight. Now I know what you are thinking... return it to Amazon and screw over someone else right? Well instead of stealing I looked up the TSA number and to my shock and horror there was a key. I kept the lock and bought the key so I good for me.But what the actual truck? How is it possible that the TSA padlock keys are publicly available? And to make it worse I paid $3 and it came with two different keys for different locks. I thought the deal was we had to use a padlock that they could open, so we set the combination and it was a normal padlock to the outside world but when TSA had to invade your privacy they would be able to do it with the key. But if anyone can buy the key what's the point of the lock? If you want or need to have the key to your TSA padlock then buy this it works perfectly. If you are a thief then buy this it works perfectly.

Can not be used for unlocking or to lock the locks. Special TSA keys, no will not work on Samsonite luggage at all. On on the spinner model, maybe for other use? A waste of money, don’t buy.

Case was opened by US customs so stopped working. Just open all the time. Ordered this key and can reset combinationThough does make me wonder about the overall security. Surely anyone could just buy ones of these and override the locks

Found a locked suitcase clearing out some items and after trying all passcodes I could think of and all lock picking tactics online. I caved and bought this key.Worked straight away!

Useful to have these. I had not realised luggage cases essentially have a universal key lock for Customs and the like. I had forgotten my code. The key opened the case and saved the day. However, this does not allow you to re-set the lock. So, if you want to continue to use the numerical lock you will need to laboriously go though all 1000 possible combinations. Worth trying 000 in case you never re-set it from the factory setting and then numbers you have used for codes elsewhere. If that all fails just go through them from 000 to 999 systematically. It is laborious but you will get there.

Now left with 2 padlocks that do not work
