Most of the reviews mention that the tails come off, so I was hesitant to order this, but didnt have any luck finding similar sets around the same price, so I ordered it anyway.I wrapped each pony individually, so my 3 year old twins will have more to open on Christmas morning.They were kind of hard to get out of the packaging and while I was pulling them out, the tails were already coming off. Once out of the packaging, I tested them and they don't just fall off, you have to yank on them pretty hard.One problem is Rarity... Her left hoof is raised, so if her tail isn't positioned properly, she won't balance and falls over. I went back and forth considering whether I should superglue the tails in or not, but decided not to and see how it goes.On the bright side, it'll be a teachable moment so they can learn about balance! I can always superglue them later. :)The cutie marks are only on one side, but they're well made and a good size. My only problems are the tails and how Rarity has trouble standing.Update 1/19/2019:I was concerned about the tails and Rarity, but I've decided to change my review from 4 stars to 5!Rarity still bugs them a little, but they know she needs a little help and if they can't get her tail positioned so she can balance, they ask me.The tails are actually pretty fun! They take them all off and love to tell me whose tail is whose!

I bought these to use as cake toppers for my 2 yr old daughters birthday cake and doubled as an additional gift for her. They are pretty substantial and have good weight to them. They’re also a pretty decent size! They are so much more cute than other ones I’ve seen. As stated in other reviews, the tails can come off but it hasn’t been a huge issue for us. They’re easy to pop back in.TIP: When removing from packaging, pull from the body or legs so the tails won’t come off.If using for cake toppers, my picture is for an 8” inch cake where 2 just fit. 10” might be better :)Also, it’s worth noting the cuties marks are only on one side of their flanks. That would be the only negative.

Most products look derpy (love derpy though) and it doesn't sit well at different angles, these work as a collectable and for show. GG figures!

I saw these several times and passed, then I saw that Hasbro sells them individually for more. So you can get all 6 for $20 or pay tax and shipping each. You save about $10-415 this way if you want all 6. hard plastic figures, good quality roughly 3 1/3 " each. Not for infants, could be a choking hazard, tails didn't come off for me but I'm not trying to remove them. Good as a play set, nice for display. Great for all ages, non pose able figures.

These are the favorite toys of my 4 and 2 year old. They have lived a hard life in the 2 months we've owned them. Pinkie Pie has lost a leg and Fluttershy's tail no longer re-attaches. The tails are made to pop on and off, and my kids enjoy popping them on and off 150 times a day. The little peg that pops Fluttershy's tail on fell off, however, so I am not sure how long the rest will last.I think we will need to upgrade within a month or two. For occasional play, and maybe for an older child, these are fine. But for the level of extreme play my pony-obsessed kids are enjoying with them, they aren't built to last.I like hte plastic hair vs the brushable hair, because it doesn't get tangly.

I was really impressed by the durability when I took these ponies out of the package, they're quality and not cheap feeling plastic. Trails do pop out every once and awhile but easily pop back in. We do find Rarity tips over due to her foot placement but if you make sure her tail is over to balance this you shouldn't have a problem. My daughter loves playing with these.

We bought this set and kept the ponies in a cabinet that our daughter could “buy” with points she earned for having good manners, helping, practicing academics, etc. this were such a big hit. They’re a really good size and they look so cute. The only reason I took away one star for “value for the money” is because, every once in a while, the pony’s takes come off. You can easily pop them back in, though, and our three year old doesn’t mind that one bit. I’d highly recommend these! The colors are so bright, and they’re one of the best looking sets we have.

I got these for my 3 year old daughter, she loves my little pony, for Christmas. I gave four stars simply because the tails were socketed and she was able to pull them off within minutes. I superglued them back on but she then broke them off completely. So over all I wish the tails were sturdier but she still loves to play with them.
