Does what it says it will
I don't know if these are supposed to affect the sound or just keep dust out of the drivers. If there is any change in the sound it is too subtle for me to detect. The ones that came with my headphones are so old they were falling apart. The replacements were easy to fit. Now the headphones are back to how they should be, they still sound just as good so I'm glad I bought them.
