This grinder worked very well for medications. My wife was on a feeding (peg) tube and had trouble swallowing. This grinder got the meds fine enough where they dissolved more completely and did not clog up the tube. The large Pestle was easy for my large hands, the mortar was easy to hold in my hand, or secured to a table.

Exactly what I need to crush dog's supplements. Small, kinda cute and sturdy. I like that the sides keep the bits from flying out all over the place. Just nifty.

This is a high-quality product that works great for pet medication, though the ridges inside can make it a little tedious to get the powder out.

This small mortar & pestle is excellent for crushing pills without much strain of effort. Like the fact that a covering/coating on the pestle and inside bowl make it easier to apply pressure without slipping! Easy wash up that takes up little space as well.

The only thing I use this for is to crush my dogs’ daily probiotic tablet to sprinkle over their food. For some reason, a portion of the tablet sticks to the bowl and pestle. Fortunately, it doesn’t matter with this over the counter medication but with anything else, I would have to get a more expensive mortar and pestle.
