Perfect For Savage Mark 2
Although my Savage Mark 2 came with two small scope mounts, they are very short and don't allow you to move the scope forward or backward much at all. This mount is long enough to allow the shooter to adjust the scope's position to fit your natural cheek weld and preferred eye relief. Good product. Just remember to get picatinny compatible rings.

Second purchased for 2 different rifles. Front doesn't match perfectly with ejection port, but I see no issues. Mounting holes fit perfectly and screws don't drag on bolt action with stainless receiver. Would be nice if they offered a silver or polished color.

Fits as advertised. Some scopes you may need to get off a bit of the end because you need less eye relief.

The rail didn't mount straight on my rifle, and you can see how that can cause accuracy issues.

The manufacturer packaging had been repackaged with scotch tape; the shipping envelope wasn't tampered with, so this happened defnitely before shipping. One of the screw heads appears semi-stripped but was still usable. The bottom of the scope mount had scotch tape on it as well. I probably should have used another screw because removing it could be an issue. I shimmed the mount for my 22 rifle and used the questionable screw on the shim-side and didn't tighten it all the way. Otherwise it looks ok.I've bought from Optics Planet (Ebay I believe) a few times before and this is the first issue I've ever had.
