I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I wanted to record my baby’s first 100 day celebration. So glad I did! The functionality is everything I need and easy to operate. The build quality is nice and reminds me of my old android g1 cellphone with the way the display rotates. The picture quality is great, for photos and obviously for videos! Battery life was great. I left it recording for a couple hours and it was going strong! We actually forgot it was there! Overall great value for the money and will be looking to explore any future models as well! The stabilizer was clutch, because I move around a lot. Can’t wait to record my baby growing up!

It is a very nice camera. The directions are vague though. The app that supposed to work with the camera doesn't. I tried several times. Customer service is out there somewhere. I think.

I do not have djii money so I cannot compare from real life experience but if you have the money and take content seriously, opt for that. This is cute for my lil rants and blogs so one day aliens will study my footage to understand humanity. Even with 4K 60fps, the quality is not quite there. My biggest pet peeve is probably also because I am an amateur with gimbals. But trying to get the perfect settings for this to stabilize is frustrating. It’s also not something you can carry on your wrist or in your bag without the case. If you move around, not filming, an alert saying PTZ PROTECTION will sound an alarm and the lens will try to recalibrate to a position that’s does…something I’m assuming. Face tracking is 50/50. Audio is lacking. No where to attach a flash. Wish this had more accessories like the djii.Maybe I need a manual. But the learning curve is real but I do enjoy it for filming me and my friends. If I could redo this, I would get a more traditional camera but I opted for this because I walk and record myself a lot and the bounce is crazy :pBut I am frightened of this lens. It reminds me of a newborns neck.

Handles very well and is very comfortable in the hand. Good stabilization and clear video... Gonna come in real handy for my upcoming events.

Camera looks nice but when I brought it I didn’t check it or open it until my vacation when I wanted to use it. The camera didn’t show clear and the screen was sketchy and had red purple lines in the videos very faulty

Great idea but not quite there yet. Mobile app doesn't work even after 5 installations and multiple pairing following the instructions on an iphone. Found out this is common to most buyers. No support from customer service. Still waiting for them to contact me back. Camera settings firmware needs some work. Experience photographer and never could get an acceptable result. Selected face tracking in settings. Does it work. Maybe, there is really no way to know. Results were the same on or off. Could be another setting or button but the information is lacking in the manual if there is. Expected more at this price point. Love the flip screen and there is potential with this product. In my opinion it's not ready for prime time.

I have been looking for a small yet powerful camcorder for some time for live blogging, travel and random video needs for some time. This powerhouse (while a bit pricey) did not disappoint and I'm looking forward to taking it on some upcoming travels. The package comes with everything you need to get going including a charged battery and an SD card. Quick configuration of date etc can be done and then you are ready to go. Great resolution and just overall a pretty fun product,
