Two different types I've tried
I love that these are natural and gelatin-free. I really just do not care for the flavour. And the thought of taking them, makes me nauseous, which I don't like, so I have a difficult time taking them. I'm sure that for someone else, these are great. Just my experience with it. Everyone's pregnancy is different. I do not feel like a star needs to be taken. The product is a good quality for the price. The review above is for the Sugar Free Prenatal & Omegas one, pictured on the left. I just received the Prenatal Multi & Omegas this time (pictured right). As I do not eat pork or shellfish, I reached out to the company to clarify the gelatin. It is only beef and they no longer put pork in any of their supplements (just fyi). And these are FANTASTIC! I love the flavour and they are easy to chew. I actually look forward to the "treat" every morning now. If you have not tried this type from Smarty Pants, I highly recommend it.

Enjoyable, and good for before, and during pregnancy.
First of all let me start by saying I rarely do reviews but seeing all the unfair comments led me to feel like I have to....1. Everyone says they taste nasty and I'll admit the first time I got them the taste was so so, but not as bad as some are making them out to be. They are a gummy and a natural one, so don't expect a fake over flavored sugary gummy. They take some getting used to. I put mine in the refrigerator and they are a lot better cold, and especially right after eating your morning meal. Remember you aren't doing this for a sweet treat, you're doing this for your health and your babies health.2. My blood work was phenomenal so I know they are doing what they are supposed to be doing3. If it's best for baby and Mama then nothing else should matter.4. Since Amazon's distribution keeps changing the price, don't blame SmartyPants....blame the distributor. You can get these Organic prenatals at Target now, same with the men's organic multi gummy.5. I have NEVER got an expired bottle, not even close.Overall.. I would say with all the benefits and thought they have put into this gummy its well worth a few seconds to chew and swallow. I researched other brands for hours and kept coming back to this one.Would I recommend it? Heck yes.Does my Doc office? Yes, and the even have it in their office..... so you make the choice but be cautious on overly negative reviews....Best of luck Mama's!

Organic but stinky
Love that there is an Organic gummy option! The ingredients are packed with vitamins and I think the quality is great but man, they stink and taste terrible.I am editing this review now that my healthy baby is 6mo old. The smell and taste issue was my pregnant hormones and I got used to it after a few weeks. I like the taste now and still take them postpartum while breastfeeding. I also love the texture - not too soft or hard, they never get stuck in my teeth. Highly recommend!

The new formula definitely doesn’t taste as good
I love these prenatals. They work well and are high quality as far as the necessary vitamins go. I do want to warn a potential buyer that if you’re used to the previous original formula, this one is very different. It tastes more earthy, and medicine like. The previous was more of a fruit snack flavor and this is DEFINITELY not.

GROSS SALMON TASTE
These are AWFUL! They have a very, very strong fish taste. Luckily I hadn't eaten yet so I only had dry heaves after trying just two instead of the suggested serving size of 4. I even had my husband try them to see if it was just me & me hormones but he gagged and promptly spat it out. Avoid these at all costs! I'm usually such a fan of Smarty Pants vitamins but this makes me never want to purchase them again. In the trash they go & off to find a new brand of vitamins.

Best Prenatals
I’ve been using these prenatal vitamins for years and absolutely love them. The gummies are easy and taste good. It helped with my pregnancy and now postpartum while breastfeeding. Will definitely use again when trying to conceive for our next baby.

Bad Taste
I had a hard time finishing this pack. I had the original flavor my first pregnancy and those were great but the taste of this updated version is terrible in my opinion.

The original flavors are the lesser of two evils
I am an adult woman who gags when trying to swallow any pill larger than a birth control pill. I just can’t do it. So when I got pregnant with my first kid in 2017, I knew I had to find some alternative to the absolutely massive gobstoppers that are prenatal vitamins. After trying some grocery store gummy prenatals and becoming super sick of them during the first trimester, I found this brand (original flavors: strawberry banana and lemon, I think?) and they were amazing!! Like candy. I actually looked forward to taking them.Fast forward to my second pregnancy in 2020 and I bought these again, excitedly anticipating the excuse to literally eat fruit snacks every day. I was shocked and disappointed to discover that by 8-10 weeks, I absolutely hated the taste and could barely choke them down. I can’t figure out if something about the formula changed or if it was just the nausea, but my experience was much worse. Still, they were better than any other option I could find. That brings us to present day: in anticipation of *maybe* getting pregnant again, I ordered these to start taking them. This time, remembering my aversion to the original flavors (two years later and I can still taste it if I think about it, ugh), I saw the new blueberry lemon flavor and got so excited!!! I ordered these and tried them for the first time today and they were awful. It felt like I was eating a candle. The flavor is awful, and the texture is NOT as good as it used to be. I can barely stomach these now; no way I’ll be able to eat 4 of them a day if I get pregnant and nauseous again.Until someone invents a prenatal that is a tasteless, odorless powder easily dissolved in something like Gatorade, this is probably one of your best options out there if you’re like me and can’t handle an actual pill. But please take my advice and buy the original flavor; stay away from the blueberry.
