Best shewee product
Following the advice of others and the advice on the packaging I was able to use this successfully first time, no spills or leaks! I agree that the trick is to have it firm at the back more than the front.I had a soft silicone shewee from years ago, but you couldn't really use it without pulling down your trousers or wearing a long billowy skirt. Unlike this one, it being forward facing and of hard construction means you can slip it into place easily, and you don't have to feel the wind on your cheeks! Very impressed, it's going into my hiking bag as an essential for long walks.

Perfect piddle
I am a heavy goods driver and this is a life saver! It saves having a little moon peering out from under the truck when i get caught short and need to stop!Lets face it - there is no good place for a lady to pee on the road!

Great No1
Does the job if needed and in a decent container that’s not obvious, the container can double up as a steriliser

I love this. I can now do what I have always wanted
I love this. I can now do what I have always dreamed of, thats right pee standing up.This device is just all sorts of awesome.Firstly, it is in one of my favourite colours, purple, which is a bonus. So first box ticked there. The device is able to be dismantled and stored in a non conspicuous container, that to me could be mistaken for a glasses case or something similar, so discretion is assured here. Second box ticked. The device is so easy to assemble and dissemble. The device comes with clear (and somewhat funny) instructions on how to do this, but you really dont need them. When this is in your hands you just know what to do with it. No reading necessary.Use! Now I will try and be as discreet here as I can. The instructions are clear and helpful, But I would strongly suggest that on your first use you stand in a shower, with a bucket and practise posture and aiming. It is not as easy as it looks especially on the first try, there is a knack to it, but once you figure out the perfect pose and angle to use, its like riding a bike, you never forget and that is it. Mission accomplished. The device fits snugly and works, the only thing I don't like is the area which forms to a tip, that would sit just by the back door. Due to this being plastic and very rigid it can feel uncomfortable against your person, as you slide it away from you for removal. I have poked myself with it (don't laugh) and it did hurt, so just be mindful of that. You are supposed to flick the device dry. But residue does remain. If I can and have access to a sink I run water through it, shake, then stick it under a hand dryer for about 30 seconds, then pop it back to the container. If i cannot access a sink, say if I'm outdoors I suggest a lot of shaking then putting it back in the container with some tissues or wipes handy to clean device and hands before putting it away.Love being able to stand up and discreetly pee without having to crouch, loose balance or at worst wet feet, I have not looked back and use this device quite often (gigs, rambling, camping etc) I would highly recommend.

You definitely need to practice before using it
It is really narrow so I don't feel absolutely confident that I won't wee all over my hands. They do recommend that you practice using it in the shower and I totally agree with that. Positioning is really important with this but overall a good product.

Perfect for Hiking or wild camping
Every woman that Hikes needs this!! I did try to do a bit of research on social media and couldn’t find much on a Shewee! But I bought it anyway, It’s comfortable, (I’d say practice in the shower first) brightly coloured, I went for a normal one not a flexible one. It’s discreet in its box. I highly rate it!

Good idea but tricky to use
I liked the idea of being able to pee standing up, without having to squat and bare my bottom on country walks but, practising in my bathroom, I never managed to use the Shewee without some degree of leakage. All the reviews say correct positioning is vital but it didn't seem to be an anatomically good fit for me. By the time I had it in the right position the pointy end was perilously close to my bottom. It might work if you are bigger/longer than me - I'm short and small boned. Apart from that, it also needs to be held against you quite firmly and, as it is made of very hard plastic, I found it very uncomfortable. However, I could see the concept should work so I then bought both the Whizz and the Pstyle. The Whizz is a soft silicon cup/tube and was comfortable to position. I found it easy to use, but only by crouching backwards over the toilet with my trousers down (one of the positions suggested in the accompanying leaflet) This would make it good if you wanted to use a public toilet without sitting on the seat but not so good for peeing while mostly clothed out in the country.I struggled get it in the right position if I was trying to pee facing the toilet - the only time I managed it I had to angle my hips forward to such an extent that it was then difficult to actually pee (women aren't basically designed to pee standing up!) I think, for me, it might have been easier if I had the extension tube which can be bought to go with it. And I never managed to get it in the right position to avoid leaks when I was wearing clothes, although I think that would have been possible with more practise. However, the Pstyle, which is rather like a large, curved shoehorn, proved simple and comfortable. It's made from plastic but is much more flexible than the Shewee and firmer than the Whizz, so it feels secure. And its shape means placing it seems instinctive, you just tuck it gently against you, tilt the front down a fraction and away you go. I was successful immediately unclothed and then equally successful clothed and have no qualms about using it in the big wide world.
