Excellent cat house. I have it on a covered porch. I have 2 cats inside and 2 that are inside/outside. I wanted to give them the option to get inside a dry space when it rains or just a covered space for naps. It was very easy to put together and came with very clear instructions. I was looking for a large, elevated cat house. You will need a screwdriver, but the only thing you need it for is attaching the 6 legs to the floor of the house. The rest is all a matter of aligning the Velcro. I do like the mesh door flaps it came with but removed those for now until kitties get used to them. It also comes with clear plastic type door flaps. I love the cooling mat it came with to put on top of the padding and the straps to hold it in place. Both kitties use the house separately and sometimes together. They are large cats; one is stocky weighing 15lbs and the other is long and lanky weighing around 16lbs. I bought the unheated version of this house as I have the Kitty Tube Insulated Cat House Gen 4 for colder weather. I also bought the GDLF Wood Outdoor Cat House with ventilation to add to the porch, so they have options. I think the Texsens Outdoor cat house is worth the money and would buy it again for what I'm using it for on a covered porch. Happy with this purchase.

Bought this for 3 feral cats and they really use it all the time. It’s well made, sturdy and waterproof. It has two entrances (one back and front) which cats prefer. Originally I was going to make something myself but buying this was so much better. This was super easy to assemble and it even has insulation.

Overall, this is a decent outdoor cat house. Enough space for extra bedding and a food bowl. Price was good and assembly was easy. The flaps could be closer together, as there are gaps between them, which can allow air in. I tried to remedy this by taping the slats together. The thing is also pretty lightweight so you will definitely need to use the wind spikes or it might get blown away. The instructions also say not to leave it out in direct elements and that it needs to be over some kind of cover so not sure how long this will hold up.

Build quality:This outdoor cat house has been a fantastic addition for our outdoor cats. It’s super stable thanks to the elevated design, and it holds up well even during heavy rain. The waterproofing and insulation keep it dry and cozy inside, which the cats clearly appreciate — they started using it right away.The cushion is soft, the structure feels solid, and the roof window is a nice touch for extra light. Definitely built to last, and perfect for stray or barn cats needing a safe spot outdoors.

Great product and easy to assemble! Well made with a great design for winter, wet weather and even warm weather. I like that it has 2 doors and comes with both plastic flap and mesh door covers.

I am so happy that the stray cats have been enjoying their house. I think they feel safe and protected from the weather and other animals. It was very easy to put together and seems pretty sturdy. The cats love sitting on top of the roof and sunbathing.

Easy as pie to assemble, made well, very sturdy and does not leak in rain. Although our stray cat that has adopted us does not stay in it, she does make daily trips thru it and has put her fake mouse toy inside!!! Delivery was SUPER fast. I recommend 100 percent.
