Excellent
First off, let me say that delivery was great. Actually earlier then expected, not that I'm complaining though. As for the phone, it's everything that I was expecting and then some. And I've done plenty of research before purchasing this phone. This however is my first high-end phone. My phones before this were all cheap low quality stuff. Galaxy Light, Nokia 520, Zte Avid, etc. So now I got this beast of a phone, I feel so awesome now that I'm playing with big boys (and girls). The speed on this is incredible, jumping from one app to another before I can think what I was planning to do in it is awesome. The camera looks really good too. I'm no tech expert, so I won't tell you how many pixels it has and how it's different and stuff. But that 4k camera mode looks AMAZING. Please understand that this is coming from a guy who was content on phones mentioned earlier. Heck, I don't even know what to do with all this space on the 128gb memory card that it can support. The only thing I was worried that it won't work for my carrier, which is metro pcs. But thankfully it works perfectly fine, with the 4G LTE network. You only gotta cut their sim card to fit the phone since it'll only take nano sized cards. And now here's my personal selling point. Being able to play my ps4 games via WiFi and remote play. When the TV is occupied by someone else, this comes in handy, especially for gamers such as myself. And here's my mind-blown experience. During remote play, get a call, answer it and STILL BE PLAYING during the call!Well there you have it, my somewhat review for this Z3. Only had it for little over a month and so far so good. I will not stress test the durability because... well it's pretty expensive so it's common sense to take care of it.

best offering ive seen for 2014
I'm using it with tmobile and the d6653 model doesnt get 4g on tmo's network. that being said, i do get H+ which is fast enough for me. the phone itself; it feels amazing in your hands however it is fragile due to metal sides and glass front/back, the fluidity of the phone in general is unmatched (i compared it to pretty much every phone and the only phone that is as consistently as smooth is the htc m8 ), the camera is amazing although u have to go into manual mode for truly amazing pictures (color is duller than other phones so sometimes it looks more natural while others it looks bland; you can easily fix this by editing the photos; overall, if u like detailed pics then this is it but if u want easy touch and shoot then this might not be it), the sound is good but i'm no audiophile (if i wanted actually good sounds id use real speakers; the phone's sounds are loud and clear but i cant say if its better or worse than any other phone, they all sound the same essentially), the screen is great but colors could be more saturated ( resolution at this point is useless, 4k and 1080p looks pretty much the same unless u have too much time on your hands), and the best part is that it's waterproof and dust proof. sony has some extra features just like every other oem and sure theyre cool but to me, it's on par with the other features from other oem's except samsung and motorola which have the better and more useful features with motorola having the best features in my book. BATTERY IS AMAZING! you would have to turn the brightness all the way up and use data consistently or be in a deadzone to have your battery run out in one day; even then, you still get 5 hours of screen on time. i get 6 hours of screen on time over TWO DAYS! tldr; feels amazing to use and lasts long enough to have fun using it

Bad Camera and nothing special for the high price
Very much Disappointed with the camera. It doesn't show the original colors. In whatever lighting conditions you take a photo, when you zoom it the picture is not at clear. My less expensive moto g2 takes far better photos than this. This is definitely not worth $500. If you are looking for a smart phone with good camera, then this is definitely not a option. Performance wise it is good. But you get same performance for very lesser priced phone. There is nothing special in this phone. Overrated and highly priced phone.

NOT WATERPROOF
The phone itself was spectacular. I prefer it over the newest iPhone by far. It ran well and did not experience any issues with games or apps. The camera also has many cool features such as AR and 4K video ( despite not having a 4K display ). Unfortunately, I tested the water capabilities by making sure all ports were secure and dipping it in a sink slowly while using the camera. After removing the phone from the sink it was in for about 15 seconds the screen started flashing on and off until the screen would not respond to touch and shut off. The phone itself is fine but the screen has no use because it will rarely respond to the power button (it might come on for a few seconds if you leave the phone alone for a few hours) and it will never respond to your touch.

Never drop this phone
Upgraded from the s4. Much happier with Sony's stripped down approach to Android than Samsung's touchwiz. The camera is wonderful and fast. The battery lasts a long time even with heavy use. Only downfall is that it doesn't fit into my car holder because of the placement of the magnetic charge cable.***Update***Okay, the front and rear of this phone are made out of glass. It is a super delicate phone that I could not find a suitable case for. I've replaced the screen twice and the back cover once. My screen is broken again from the aluminum case and I've had enough, moving on to something else. Great phone, but I will not look to Sony again until they build them with that indestructible glass.
