Little Hiccup But Great Setup
Ordered about a month ago along with a bunch of other soldering kit and it was delivered with a few of those items. Problem was, when I opened the manufacturers box, which looked very much unmolested, I was disappointed to realize that I was missing parts. The base plate, the 4 adjustable alligator clip arms, and the adjustable magnifying glass with LED light and cord were in there, even the big nut to attach the magnifying glass arm was there. But no rubber base footings or any hardware to install them were included.I immediately opened the Amazon app and started the process of informing the seller of this issue, hoping the solution would be one of the simpler options to rectify the situation. Either the seller could drop a hardware and rubber foot set into the mail for me (not likely, the Amazon Fulfillment system doesn't work that way) or just send out a full replacement with all the right parts. As part of that second option, I was hoping that the seller would realize that receiving back the first incomplete kit already unboxed without all the OEM packaging inside with the hopes of making it complete and reselling it would require too much time and cost to be worth the effort, but alas it was not to be.They immediately shipped out a second kit (which is why they still earned 5 stars), but insisted I box up the one I had, print out the prepaid UPS shipping label, and ship it back to them. Knowing that I would be receiving the replacement in a matter of days while the deadline for return was a month away, I made it as easy as possible for myself, which just so happened to minimize the effort required by the seller to add the missing hardware bag and restock it for sale. When the replacement arrived, I opened it, grabbed the 1 bag of hardware I needed, didn't unbox or handle any of the other components in their OEM to customer shipping state, put it back into the shipping box it came in, stuck the label on it, and hunted down a UPS truck give to!See that? Teamwork DOES make the dream work!As far as the the product itself, I've got mostly high praise with a couple VERY minor complaints. The base plate is way heavier than I expected which means the assembly is far more stable than I had anticipated as well! The ridgidness of 5 adjustable arms, 4 alligator clip an 1 magnifying glass, are about as close to ideal as I think they could be. And I'm a huge fan of the 3 light temperature options, as well as how the buttons on the inline control box feels. My first minor complaint is a function of a pet peave I've developed over the last decade and a half. That's the almost universal trend of low voltage consumer electronics products providing a power cable which connects via a MicroUSB or USB-C with only a USB-A plug on the power source end. It really annoys me that they put the onus on the consumer to source their own compatible 5vDC wall plug adapter which would cost them pennies to include if sourced in bulk. The second is the threaded stud and nut used to attach the magnifying glass arm to the metal base. The length of the threaded rod provided allows for the included nut to grab about 2½ threads, not even ½ of the nut's depth. Clearance is not the issue, the nut extends down about ¼" already and that still gives it about ½" clearance to the surface thanks to the height of the rubber footers. The threaded stud should be a length to, at the very minimum, sit level with the bottom of the nut when fully torqued to allow all of the nut's threads to distribute the torque load. This issue, along with the next one, almost guarantee the repeated need to retorque the nut, happening of course at the most inconvenient time possible. That next issue, the third and final, relates to the previous, but probably would have actually made the issue worse. When it involves components which are expected to be constantly manipulated with forces being applied in every axis as part of the normal use of the setup, there are better methods of attaching this arm component to the base which don't have this issue, but they cost more, are more complex. That said, the design used to attach the magnifying glass arm perpendicularly to the base with a vertical threaded rod and nut is simply, cheap, and CAN be just as reliable, but they forgot that last part! What's annoying is how simple the solution is, even considering that in this application they made it a little less simple for themselves. All they needed to do is include a simple, appropriately sized zinc split washer and the probability of the nut backing off it's threads goes VERY near to zero. BUT!BUT, without thinking about it doing so would significantly exacerbate the issue of the threaded rod length, likely doing so to an extent that would make the kit unassemblable without modifications by the customer. So, see, very minor, easy to deal with issues, so still a great deal!

Great for soldering
The alligator clips are so wonky for me. Feels like a half defeated Dr. Octopus is trying to hold my circuit board. The light and magnifying glass are fantastic however. I have to keep unplugging and replugging the USB into the port I have on my desk to turn it back on after an extended period of not using it.

Soldering helpers
These are SO MUCH BETTER than my old school helping hands that had fixed joints. These flexible hands allow you to put them into any position, which is way better than fumbling trying to get the correct angles on the old ones. The light included is bright and makes it easy to see the project. Very much recommended.

4x the Helping Hands!
Very handy for soldering or when working with small electronics. The 4 helping hands, the magnifying glass which has a light with multiple temperature settings and the base is magnetic… so you don’t lose yours screws and pieces. Love this for when I’m tinkering with my Raspberry Pi’s.

Tiny but effective magnifier.
I like that I have this, but i wish the magnifier was larger. Its sweet spot is TINY and I basically have to squint one eye and find the exact right spot to look at. Once I do, it works well, but it's less than ideal.

Perfect for every workbench
Best tool to add to my craft bench. Super flexible and easy set up. Not only can I use this on my electronics but also my glass work. Love the design!

Generally good product - can be improved but nice.
Connections can come loose - threadlock would help
