I love these things. I had another type for our daughter and this one was for our son. It's just great for them to tinker with while in a play area crawling around and good stabilizer to use while learning to stand. The 3 dimensional aspect promotes longer and more frequent periods of tinkering because they can focus on one side for however long and then when they get board or distracted they can redirect they attention to a brand new side. As opposed to a board that has to much to focus on in site I feel would add to shortened attention spans. It takes up more floor space but the storage component is a plus. And after seeing the effects my daughter's version had to aid her dexterity it's amazing. I would say swap the double sided sticky pads for actual hardware and making it so some doors open to the inside would make it better. Oh and some component can be removed entirely and are rather small which could get lost or be a choking hazard. Attaching a string to those parts would mitigate this.

I am just not sure this is made well. My granddaughter loves it so I do want to say that. A few pieces are not attached such as the phone. The solution is double faced tape that was sent however, the double face tape does NOT hold the phone on. The paint chips easily and parts are loose.
