I had to replace 4 water bottles with temperature lids that I bought on Temu for cheap that kept smelling like chemicals no matter how much you clean them. I was determined to get a USA-made water bottle so it took some research. Not as much choice as there should be, just a few brands. Narrow them to a lid without a spout, a straw, or anything that can get moldy inside, and a bottle with a wide mouth that's easy to clean - this was literally the only choice left.I used it for a few weeks. No smell, no stains, rust, or scratches so far. It feels solid. If they had a sale, I'd get a couple more. I wish they had more colors - that's how people get tempted by Chinese brands that offer a much wider diversity of color choices and interesting perks like LED temperature lids.

I bought this to use as an wide mouth water bottle anyway, not knowing it came with the alternative straw lid. I tried it out anyway, just to see how it felt. Straw gave the water a bad chemical after taste, which did not go away with washing. Straw lid also leaked when upturned. So if you're looking for a bottle that's convertible, or specifically has a straw, and are at all sensitive to taste, maybe look elsewhere. But as a simple wide mouth bottle, this works just fine.

Keeps drinks cold or 8 plus hours.

Have bought over 20 of this brand over the last few years. Great seal and nice colors. Also keeps my drink cool.
