Great quality, easy assembly!
This bunk bed is just what I was looking for! I have a 2 year old who was ready to transition to a bed and a 6 year old who has been begging for a bunk bed. I knew I wanted the bottom bunk to be flat on the floor so I don’t have to worry about my toddler falling from very high if she rolls off. This bed is the perfect height! If you have bigger kids there may not be enough space on the bottom, but it looks to me like she’ll be fine in there til she’s around 7-8 years old. The top bunk isn’t too high and has a nice sturdy railing. I opted to purchase a 5 inch foam mattress to allow plenty of height on the railing. After reading other reviews I also purchased a bunkie board to go under the mattress and provide additional support.Assembly was so easy!!! When I got the boxes I thought this was going to be a PAIN! I started sorting the pieces while reading the directions and thought, “I’ll just put a few of these together real quick so it’s easier when I have a whole afternoon available to assemble it”. Those few pieces went so quickly that I put a few more together and then I could see how it was all going to work. My husband took a 30 min break from work (at home lol) and we had the frame completely together! All that was left was to attach the railing and the supporting beams and it was done! Maybe 2 hrs total between the two of us. And it’s super sturdy! 400lb weight limit for the top bunk, I’ve climbed up there and made sure it felt sturdy and it really is! Excellent value, awesome bed.

Perfect for our daughter!
This bunk bed is perfect for our 4 year old! It is very nice looking and quality material! It took us 2 hours to build, is easy to assemble and our daughter loved helping! We left the bed slats off the bottom so she can use it for toys and reading books, and loves to sleep on the top bunk! The stairs are nicely slanted so they are safer to use and you can choose which side to put them on. It says it will hold 400lbs; so we are able to climb up and it doesn't make a sound. Very sturdy! It is short enough that I can reach over the top to say goodnight! I love that! The 6" thick mattress is the best option but the mattress we bought is too small to be a twin so there is a gap. That is an issue with the mattress we bought, not the bunk bed. Our daughter loves her big girl bed!!

Great Bunk! Easy to put together!
First of all. This bunk actually shipped to Hawaii for $30 and that is already amazing. We have very limited choices here so we were happy to see this would ship. The UPS guy struggled a bit with the big box to get it to the garage. It is very long and heavy. Lucky for us 70 yo Grampa is in top shape and slung it on his shoulders and carried it to the back of the house. My 17 yo and I opened the box down stairs and carried pieces up and laid them out in the master according to page numbers. I am 7 months pregnant and assisted my 17 yo and we put it together pretty quick. She did most of it. Laying it out in order really helped. Definitely need two people especially the foot and headboard slats they are a bit annoying. For the mattress we used a Costco 11” mattress for the bottom. We wanted more comfort in case it needed to be a guest bed but that mattress was much to high for the top as it came up to the rails. So for the top we got a mattress in a box from Walmart that was only 6” and it worked great. Maybe we will use another for the bottom to make more space. There is a metal bar under the top bunk that knocked a few heads so we got a pool noodle and sliced it down one side and it popped on perfectly. We got the pink curtains and I didn’t like the idea of the plastic windows for safety and because it might be too hot so we carefully trimmed out the plastic windows. I tossed it in the dryer on refresh and it came out smelling good and less wrinkled. We put up the Velcro and used a staple gun to secure it to the bed then added the curtain and it is on there pretty solid even when daddy climbed in.My 5yo was so excited to hear she was getting a baby sister and she could finally have a bunk bed and she loves it. She would like to say it is easy to climb up the ladder and the “Secret Club” underneath is good for secret meetings.Overall this bed is very sturdy and was easy to build. We used a power drill set to low and that helped it go really fast. This bed shipped quickly and arrived in a few days. My advice is get the right drill bits and use a power drill set to low. Use a separate room to lay out the pieces and have a helper. We got the Clay color to match the rest of the furniture and it is very cute. This is not a wonky bed. We are quite happy with it.
