Excellent product - All works as hoped so far.
Wanted a simple effective 2 monitor 2 PC KVM switch and thats what I have recieved. Simple connections - Note: Both HDMI connections and the USB C have to be connected for each PC for everything to work properly. The instructions show this simply but it is accurate. I now have a clutter free desktop with 1 Keyboard and 1 Mouse connected to dual monitored PC & Laptop. This KVM also allows other peripherals and I have a Webcam and headphone set connected allowing me to video conference from both machines. Very happy so far.

Brilliant for my work-from-home setup
I was previously using a periferal-only KVM switch, but got tired of switching monitor wires every morning before work so I purchased this KVM switch. The setup process was quite lengthy as my Windows PC didn't recognise the device, and the periferals didn't work as they were supposed to initially. After finding some internet guides on installing the correct drivers for the USB device, it eventually worked. This wasn't included anywhere in the instructions so required a bit of initiative when setting up.The setup on my Macbook Pro was seamless and worked without any issues. After using for a couple of weeks now, I can confidently say that this KVM switch saves me so much time and effort in the mornings and is definitely worth the price. I can't tell a difference between the monitors being plugged directly into the PC and being plugged into this KVM switch.

Fast switching and effective
If you regularly switch between 2 computers (PC's or laptops) and monitors then this device will make your life a breeze.I often work from home with a work laptop but use a large monitor, this monitor is also used for my personal computer, I have previously either had 2 monitors (one for each device) or had a HDMI switch and 2 mice and keyboards, but now with this device I can use 1 mouse, 1 keyboard and instantly switch between my PC and laptop at the push of a button. This device actually allows output to 2 monitors if you have the outputs on your PC to use this so you can have a 2 monitor workstation that is instantly switchable. The device was easy to set up, it is a little on the bulky side but if you use the remote button you can actually mount the main device out of the way under your desk or in a cable management system. So far I have not had any issues with this and am really pleased with its performance. It has replaced a previous device that only switch mouse and keyboards, now the whole thing switches within a second.

Faulty out of the box
KVM would power cycle and then loose connection to one or both monitors intermittently over several hours of use. Tried different cables and monitors without resolving this issue.

Excellent KVM with support for Multiple Components/Peripherals
This is quite an upgrade on the KVM switches of old. Whereas with those you typically would get the ability to connect a number of PC's (depending on the model of switch) the KVM would then typically switch a keyboard, mouse and a monitor between any of the connected PC's.The enhancements on this KVM still limit you to 2 PC's with this model, but instead of just a monitor, keyboard, mouse you get more peripheral support and options. To start with you can have two monitors, so if your PC's supports this function you can typically have a pair of monitors that can either act in mirror mode (i.e. display duplicated on both) or you can expand your desktop across the two displays. These are connected to the KVM using HDMI sockets and support a multitude of different HDMI display formats including 4k resolutions. In addition you get a single USB C connection on the back of the KVM for connecting to your PC's. This is then expanded in the KVM to support four USB type A sockets, two of these are USB 2.0 which are intended typically for a keyboard or mouse or dongle for a wireless keyboard/mouse.In fact if you have a keyboard/mouse that use a single dongle you may well only need one of these ports which then should enable you to use the other for other devices. The remaining 2 USB A sockets are USB 3 and intended for faster peripherals such as memory sticks or removable hard drives. To a degree this is the only thing that concerns me a little because as we all know when you remove a memory stick or hard drive you should ideally use the Windows 'remove device' in the system tray as this then flushes any memory resident file allocation table/data to the drive to ensure everything is saved correctly. In the case of the KVM if you switch from one PC to another the devices such as hard drives will effectively behave as though you have pulled the plug from one PC and plugged it into the other. This is not necessarily always going to be an issue as the PC you switched to will just see the device as though you have just plugged it in. The potential issue is that if you have un-flushed directory changes or data in memory when you press that button it may be lost as the machine you've effectively unplugged it from will have no opportunity to write the data to the drive. I'm not saying you will definitely lose data, but you need to be aware there is this potential danger. It's not an issue with the KVM, it is just how windows treats these devices. You run this same risk every time you just pull a hard drive or memory stick from the USB port without running the 'remove device' widget.I should also mention you get a couple of USB A plug to plug leads in with the KVM, not such common types of leads so they may well be useful, the other thing provided is a remote switch which duplicates the select button on the KVM itself. This is provided so you can if you want hide the KVM away. Construction quality of the KVM is noteworthy as well as it is in a good quality aluminum case rather than a plastic one which bodes well for a good service life as it will be more robust.Overall I think this is a great little unit and if used correctly very useful in a home office where you have or need more than one PC.

Lo he devuelto
