No more tangled line.
Easy to use reel, line does not finish up like a birds nest. Good purchase I would recommend it.

Broken out of the box
Unfortunately, this item was broken straight from the box. The line was some how wrapped around the inner spool. Unlike the Abu 507mk2, the spool cannot be released and removed without removing a circlip and further dismantling. Handle doesn't turn or makes a grating noise. Something is rattling around inside. Returned for refund rather than replacement.

Dodgy fishing reel.
I've only given this reel 2 stars because the first time I used it it went into an almighty birds nest and wrapped the line all round the mechanism inside. Not sure if I was just unlucky and got a bad one or not but beware.

Really simple to use
Picked a Spincast after having problems running ultra light lures on a baitcaster. works extremely well, no backlash , tangles etc

A great classic Abu spinning reel
This is a great classic Abu spinning reel. I've had one for years and eventually wore it out, spares are no longer available so I was delighted to find you could still buy a new one probably 20 years later!
