A gismo that really works!!
I was a little sceptical about this device to begin with but I thought what the hell I will just have to try it and find out what all the fuss is about!.....Wow, this little thing really does work, I am very impressed with the results. I don't buy cheap wine (sub £7) but I never thought about decanting because 1) I can't be bothered and 2) I haven't got a decanter! it really does lighten the wine and also brings out its true flavours and aromas. Not a lot more I can say really other than give you a little tip: When pouring your wine make sure you hold the bottle Diagonal and not Horizontal as this helps aerate the wine properly, not only the wine you pour into your glass but also the wine in your bottle too...You can see the bubbles go up the bottle as you pour!Oh, one more thing, your guests will love the funky sound this gizmo makes!

Time Saver
I bought this as a present for my girlfriend's birthday - although it is something we can both enjoy! When drinking red wine after work, we don't have time to let the wine breathe properly, which places a limit on the wines we can choose from our collection. I have to admit that I was sceptical as to the effect that this little gadget would have.We deliberately chose a South African Shiraz which would normally be too sharp to really enjoy without an hour to breathe. Using the NuVino aerator softened it to make it enjoyable straight away... and it got better and better with each glass. It really does make a difference - it really does improve the taste - and yes we did try the blind taste test and we both 'passed'.Even with our favourite wine, a New Zealand Merlot, there was a noticeable improvement when using the NuVino... and it's quite a talking point when we're entertaining.Highly recommended.

IT WORKS - BUT LOOSE FIT ON SOME BOTTLES
Useful device that enables one-handed aeration of wine straight from the bottle. Made from acrylic and neatly boxed, and whilst the spout itself is solid enough, the removable anti-drip ring seems possibly less sturdy. Lightweight and easily pocketable for travel, picnics or taking to restaurants, but beware it is too loose fitting for some modern screw-top bottles. Removes the teeth-tingling edge from palate-challenging wines and is a portable complement to bulkier two-handed devices. Fast delivery from Amazon supplier, but considered quite expensive compared with some other blind-tested equally effective aerators.

Great product for the price!
Considering alternatives are around 20 times the price of this product, I was very impressed. Don't expect it to drastically alter the taste of your wine imidiately, but it definitely allows the wine to breate much quicker than normal. Within around 2-3 minutes the wine had aired, whereas it takes much longer normally. It seems to be a well made product, the packaging is also really nice, hard to believe it is under £5 currently.

Highly Recommended
This is the 2nd Aerator I have purchased. The first, a Le Creuset dripped wine everywhere when pouring and although it said it would fit most wine bottles I didn't find one that it did actually fit which made it extremely fiddly to use. This product however works perfectly and, although I don't drink red wine myself, my partner reliably informs me that it does make the wine taste better. It has fitted perfectly in the various bottles of wines he felt he had to drink in order to test the product fully!A great purchase. Would highly recommend

the gurgler
Not 100% convinced the wine tastes better but certainly aeriates the wine. It hits the glass, bubbles cover the surface and the noise it makes in the process is interesting. Fits the bottle well and is easy to clean afterwards. Also good conversation topic so recommended.
