Took this over to the UK in my carry-on bag. Small and portable but heats up quickly and works just as well as my standard size at home. Used it daily for over 2 weeks and it held up the entire time!

This flat iron is really nice. It is small but powerful. It took me a minute to realize the turn on button was on the inside of the iron and the button that opens the iron up is on the outside by the cord. The placement of these two things is great because they are not bumped or in the way. I have medium length hair (shoulder length) and layered. These work great on my hair. I sleep on one side and it makes my hair wavy so it takes me maybe two minutes to do my hair. It heats up very fast and gets very hot. You don't need to leave it on long. It has a nice little bag with it and the cord goes in a little outside pocket also. The bag does get a little hot if you put it in before it cools down but not hot enough to burn you or anything you have next to it if you pack it in your suitcase right away. It's very easy to use as far as handling. This is a great little tool and well worth the cost. I definitely recommend it if you don't want to spend a lot of time doing your hair and you don't have a lot of room in your luggage or purse to store it. Just be aware that it does get pretty hot.

If you're looking for a small, lightweight flatiron for travel that delivers great results, look no further. I purchased this iron for an upcoming overseas vacation. It can be used internationally, which was an important selling point. I also own an expensive professional level flatiron which delivers near-salon results, so I was not expecting a lot from this iron, just acceptable performance. I was pleasantly surprised. While not delivering the same level results as my pro iron, still, it gave me better than just acceptable. For such an inexpensive iron, it really delivers. I wish it had actual temperature controls, but at such a low price point, this is not surprising that it doesn't.

This little guy worked great for my recent trip to the UK. All you need is a plug adapter to fit the country you're in. Piece of cake!

I would give this little flat iron 5 stars if it got hotter. The description states it gets to 410°... the one I got doesn’t come anywhere near that temperature. I have wavy/curly frizzy hair that needs a high temp to straighten properly. This iron can help but rather than sleek it gets it sort of straight with a lot of static. I’ve been using expensive $150-$200 1inch flat irons for 25 years. Chi, T3, Babyliss...I recently had a serious issue following major surgery - I lost 65% of my hair mostly in the back and from temples up. I cut the my hair short so it wouldn’t look so stupid. When my hair finally started growing back in those areas I had these short short hairs that did not integrate into the rest of my hair. They were course and stuck straight out or up. I just kept cutting the rest of my hair short so that the new growth could catch up. I could not get my long flat iron that close to my scalp ~ it was too awkward. This size is perfect for that. If you have fine hair this would probably work great, but my thick wavy/curly/frizzy is too much for this iron. But I do love the size.I’m going to try and find another mini flat iron brand that gets hotter.

I just got back from a 6 week Backpacking trip in Europe and so happy I brought this little stranger.It's very small and comes with a great traveling case.I traveled to 9 countries and it worked great in all of them- France, Belgium, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Hungry, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy.The straightener does come with a US PLUG, but either requires a different amount of electricity, or has a converter inside. I see that some people were upset that it wasn't well advertised which plug (US or Europe) it comes with.. it's US! If you are traveling in Europe you have to bring an adapter for your other devices anyways, so what's the big deal? I think having a US Plug is best because you can use an adapter when traveling, but also be able to use it on the go here in the US as well. If it had an European plug it would be very limiting.I have medium length fine hair and I was able to straighten all of it in about 7-9 min. Everyone's hair is different, but it worked great for mine! It also warms up very quickly. It was also thrown around in my backpack for several weeks and held up- so great quality!Would highly recommend

I want to preface this review by saying I’ve bought this straightener years ago. After 3 years, it finally broke (and it wasn’t the actual straightener, it was the wire which got damaged) so I already trusted this specific flat iron.Anyways, I’m a dude so I needed a small enough straightener for my shorter hair. I also travel often so I needed something I could easily slip into a carry on or my backpack. I tried others but I couldn’t find anything that was as good as this straightener in both those departments! Very easy to use (just an on/off switch) and warms up pretty quickly. Does the job and for the price, it’s hard to beat.

Easily fits into a purse. Comes in its own hot-pouch case.I have below the collar bone length hair with medium texture and wave. My hair tends to frizz and expand in humid weather so I need a heat spray and flat iron to help keep it under control.This iron’s plates are petite. (Think good for bangs) ....but, it was totally capable of ironing a lot of hair. I think another reviewer called it “mighty.” - very true! So if space in a suitcase or weight are of critical importance this will get the job done with a few extra swipes.(Another reviewer said it worked once and then didn’t while on a trip. I’m wondering if she was accidentally using an incorrect adaptor or converter which would permanently damage the iron.)I’m VERY happy with this little iron, it exceeded my expectations.The price is excellent! Totally affordable.Definitely worth a try if you are on the fence.
