Mens Cheltenham Gold Fleece Lined Jacket (Water Repellent & Windproof)

I wanted a Barbour jacket but £200 queen lizzies, I wasn't going to be parting with my money that quickly...I saw this online & was EXTREMELY sceptical - Although it had great reviews, I didn't think it was possible to get any quality at that price but I was desperate to get something in before the characteristic British weather crept upon us...But boy was I wrong.I bought a medium & it fits me perfectly - I have a size 38" chest & it fits as snug as a bug. I can even wear a thick jumper underneath & have no problems!My only niggle is that the cut feels a little awkward at first. The material was a little stiff but I got used to it.But in wet & miserable weather, this is where this jacket shines. I was caught in a torrential downpour yesterday & repelled everything! The outside material was wet but I was as dry as a cream cracker on the inside. It takes the sting out of the icy wind & I have been complimented on how stylish it is!It's an absolute steal for £40 & I would highly recommend it!

Great bit of kit fits well, zips all work no dramas, its just the pockets have a really tiny entry. I cant get my "Man Hands" inside, they just about take a mobile phone, they could do with being fluted i think, the zipped right chest one is quite small too. Also could do with an elasticated wrist, or poppers on the arms, as that is as wide as the top of the arm.Otherwise its a good jacket and i will get it to the tailor shop for a small amend.

This is a well made smart jacket for the price which I have kept to wear. The large size is not generous and I could have done with a bit more room under the arms. However the arm length is fine. If you wish to wear a thickish pullover underneath you may have to consider the next size up and take a chance that the arm length is not too long.

A surprisingly good quality coat for the price! The fit is ok for me - fitted but with just enough room to spare to wear a thin jumper (but not a chunky knit!) if you are on the upper end of the size guide and want to layer up, I would suggest considering the next size up. The jacket is a bit stiff, which I assume is due to the water repellent coating, but it is starting to soften with wear.That said, apart from the initial stiffness, it is comfortable and warm, overall I am pleased with this purchase.

I was initially impressed when this jacket arrived. It was a good fit and seemed like it would be warm for the winter. That was until i discovered one of the seams on the shoulder had not been finished correctly. Contacted the seller and so far, a week later, they have not been back in touch. Not impressed.

It’s a nice fit I am a 5”7 medium build and I bought a medium. The arm and jacket length are just right and the quality seems to be very good. There is room for a thin jumper. The lining is very nice and it’s nice and warm. Pockets are a good size. On previous reviews they said that it’s stiff it is a bit but I am hoping that will give a bit but It isn't a problem. Fantastic value for money. The jacket looks very smart great for work or out doors. Unless it falls apart I would definitely recommend . Would like it if they made it in a dark blue 😊

Great jacket, bought for work only, but using for weekends too, very comfy and warm, and is waterproof too, I can confirm that, everyone asking where I bought it, just saying amazon. Had few items before from result and they was always good quality for very reasonable price

I am always hesitant on buying clothes on line as you cannot really feel or see the quality.The quality, fit and look is excellent.This is far superior to my last jacket that was a similar style but was double the price of this one.This jacket is worth three times what I paid for it, I would highly recommend.
