Talisman The Woodland Expansion

The Woodlands are much what we've come to expect with a Talisman expansion, adding a rich, interesting side quest to the overall game. However, there are a lot of little things added with this that ratchet up the complexity of the overall game. The included characters all have tokens and are substantially more complex than base set characters. The dark fate rules also increase complexity, as do the destiny rules when you enter the woodland.If you want a simple corner expansion, add the Dungeon or the Highlands. The City is its own beast, not particularly complex but primarily adding ways of getting resources. The Woodland is for someone that has played a few times, has an appreciation of the strategy and subtleties of the game, and wants a better experience (and to fill up that last corner of the table!).
